I’m very confused with this place. They seem to have decent food but can never deliver it properly. I live in the area surrounding this location so I don’t travel far for it. I always place my orders online for in-store pick up. First complaint, why am I placing my order online, for me to arrive and still have to stand in line because no one put my food on the shelf. And it’s sitting behind the prep area. I think that defeats the purpose of mobile ordering. Next I’ve received my free pita from here to only get home and notice that it’s full on moldy. Yes mold! Lastly the consistency doesn’t always seem to be the same. Today I placed my order. Arrived, again to find my food behind the prep area for me to have to wait in line, once I received my food I instantly felt something was off. Upon checking my order it looked like I was given scraps. Yes scraps. The bowl barely had anything in it. I was shocked. I paid 18$?! For this ?!? Asking the lady what was wrong she gave me the whole they have serving standards they follow, I said that’s weird because I come here frequently and not once have I received such a tiny amount of food. With attitude she remade it. Which was made without my input In which it was made correctly. But if it was going to be remade. Why not make it properly to begin with?

Having never been to CAVA before & looking for something on the healthier side to eat for dinner, my friend and I decided to give it a try last night. Upon entering we were greeted by a young lady with a soft voice and a beautiful smile. Come to find out her name is Kaydelis. She was very patient and kind with us as we reviewed the menu and asked a million questions; good thing there was no one behind us in line. She provided her honest feedback on different bowls that we were exploring and we landed on the spicy lamb meatballs and steak and feta bowls. She built both of our dinners with perfection and also informed us that extra toppings, except for avocado, couls be added at no additional charge like some other places. The food was fantastic, the service was phenomenal & we even tried some of the waters ( The blueberry lavender and cucumber lime mint were delicious and refreshing. They were out of the strawberry Citrus, it was late in the evening, so I will have to try that flavor next time) I highly recommend CAVA and cannot express how awesome our first time visiting was. The food was amazing but Kaydelis made the experience exceptional. Keep up the good work ;) We will be back!

Normally, my coworkers and I always enjoy cava, but lately, they have been rotating the staff at this place. Three months ago, the staff served you kindly. Since the rotation started, the staff serves you just for the sake of serving you. There is no good customer service. When I asked for rice, it was burnt, and they didn't bother to serve it like that. In fact, I could barely eat the food. I wanted steak, It was running out, and they looked like they had to order more steak from the kitchen. The portions were very small and disproportionate, considering that we eat at this place at least three times a week. Each plate has a normal portion of pita bread, they don't offer it to you, you have to be aware of that and ask for it because otherwise they never give it to you, something that shouldn't be the case. Honestly, we have stopped going because the service and attention have dropped a lot in quality, so I guess the portions haven't made any difference. Lately, the quality of the food has gotten much worse.

The food was great, but that’s not what I am here to talk about, the service is the worst I have ever received, not exaggerating. I have read many reviews under this specific location regarding the bad customer service, and unfortunately it’s true. I’m not sure what the lady’s name was, I tried looking for a name tag; none of the employees have one. She was extremely rude. I went today with my aunt and uncle who had been there previously. I am from Central Maine and have never been to Cava before. I love Mediterranean food and was very excited to try this place out. When we first walked in, it didn’t feel the most welcoming, but I just assumed that it was because they were busy with other customers. I was the first one to order my food, and I got the build your own bowl. I told the lady that I wanted the build your own and I told her that I wanted the saffron rice, not seeing the greens on the back of the shelf. She looked at me confused and asked me if I just wanted rice. I responded and repeated myself saying that I wanted to build my own bowl. I was really confused because I have no idea where she got the idea that I only wanted rice. I shook it off as a misunderstanding even though she had an attitude and was being a bit rude. My aunt pointed out the fact that there were greens on the back of the wall and I got lettuce. The whole time that I was ordering, I felt like this lady was judging me. She was looking me up and down and treated me like I was dumb. When it was my aunt’s turn to order her bowl, the lady was even more rude. My aunt had pointed to which greens she wanted and the lady look disgusted and told my aunt very unprofessionally: “Can you not?” My aunt responded very politely and apologized. The lady was treating my aunt like she was disgusting and much lower than her. She also rudely told my aunt to read the paper on the glass instead of answering simple questions. She rolled her eyes frequently and acted very annoyed even though we didn’t do anything to her. When I got to the second lady, she wasn’t as bad, but she wasn’t nice either. Again, instead of answering a simple question, she told me rudely to look at the paper on the glass. My aunt said that the second lady wasn’t bad to her, just didn’t talk at all and wasn’t welcoming. When we got to the cashier, she wasn’t bad, just repeated the same questions that she had asked prior. I wish the story ended here, but it didn’t. We decided to dine in and the first lady kept on staring at my family and I eating. It felt very uncomfortable to be watched while I was eating, but it was okay. Next, this guy entered the restaurant. I’m not sure if he was a friend, a partner, or worked there and just wasn’t on the job. Everyone working was talking to him and knew him. The first lady was talking very loudly to him and was saying not to get the food from the restaurant because it is too salty. I feel like she should not be saying this, especially since she works there and everyone could hear her. After that, the first lady went to change the trash can with the guy and they were making a lot of noise and causing a commotion, disturbing everyone eating. We ended up leaving before we finished eating and got kids for our bowls. Someone needs to talk to this lady about being a decent person to her customers. Again, the food was good, but I got so distracted by the awful customer service, that I could not even enjoy my food. After the fact, my aunt told me that in all of the times she went to Cava, the workers were nice to her. Maybe this lady is a new hire, but this behavior is unacceptable and I am very...

I don’t know if it’s corporate that will read these or the local managers, but I hope it’s the latter as I’ve already reached out to corporate. This location seriously needs to train their staff. I go once a week and my order has been wrong twice in the last month with wrong dressings, missing hummus or hummus inside a pita (it’s not supposed to be like that on a kids meal). The food is never ready by when the order says it will be and if it is, they don’t put it on the shelf so I have to wait to get someone’s attention to give it to me. If people stealing off the shelf is that bad of a problem, yall need to find a solution that doesn’t inconvenience the customers. They never apologize if you do point out something wrong with your order. Basically don’t leave here without verifying your order is correct. The quality control isn’t there. I don’t need a response as corp is taking care of me, but in general… management needs to be aware and make some changes.

Update: order was prepared wrong again tonight 5/24. They don’t train their staff to follow brand prep standards. A kids’ meal comes with a side of hummus or feta as a dip for either carrots or pita chips. They keep putting it INSIDE the pita so there’s nothing to dip the chips in. I asked to speak to the manager myself and while he remade it, I didn’t see anybody spoken to about it and he seemed to not understand why dips go on the side. Also, they were out of feta tonight which is insane for a place like this. They don’t follow instructions for dressings either. Ordering online allows you to select 2 dressings and I always only get 1. It’s all in the details. Please train...

Late night food purchase started with good intentions and recommendations by my friend and another patron. But good intentions became one of the worst meals I have eaten ever. They were out of meatballs and theserver sugested the roast lamb. The my friend chose the other items in the bowel. The rice was very undercooked, the so called lentils were not usual color of brow and tan but all black. The problem was the eere ss if someone replaced lentils with small stones. Fearful for my teeth, I tried yo separate them from the other from the other food. No luck. My friend andyhe other patron said they were not cooked properly. Worst of all, the staffsaid nothing could be doe to remedy the situation since all food was put away for the night. I tried eating some more but again became fearful my dental care. Again I asked if there was another remedy such as a refund. I got blank stares from the staff as if I was making a false complaint. At that pont , I gave up trying to eat and left nearly half of the bowel uneaten. Again I complained to the staff who were only concerned about putting chairs up on tables and mopping the floor and gave no indication that it was any of their concern. So I told them I would write a review. So here it is! WARNING. Do not st this restaurant late like after 9 PM. Make sure the food has been cooked properly or even cooked at all. Look for signs of disinterest as a prelude to poor quality, possibly unedible good. Because you will not get an offer to try a proper food snd certainly...
