So, chili was definitely good! However, my family doesn't ever want to go back and this is why! We understand inflation has increased. However, when you get to the point that sour cream(a condiment) is now 50 cents extra per one(even the first one) it is disappointing to say tye least! Now factor in the price to purchase a small or large chili at Wendy's has already increased significantly! The was the icing on the cake: We said, "ok fine but can we get crackers" and they said "I am sorry we are out of crackers!" My grandma said wow really, well then is it possible to get a sour cream in place of the crackers you don't have! They said, "no that will be 53 cents for each sour cream!" We both said yes I know but as a courtesy can you give is one sour cream instead and they said no! We show on two chili's and zero contents with no drink walked away spending about 13 dollars! Also, her chili(small) had a good amount of meant and mine had almost none(literally) but at that point I was starving and didn't have the strength to go in and ask for actual meat in my chili! See people go for speed, easiness, good quick food, and sameness! If you keep doing less Ingredients, highly increasing the price and start charging for condiments what exactly as a business is making me want to be a longterm customer! I can go to Publix get chili in a can(the good brand) and get a tub of sour cream for appr. $8 and it heartily feed 2 people oh and even if I wanted to buy publix crackers for that would make it appr. $10 and if I added one more can that would be 13! The difference is that would be enough chili for 2 people to eat 2 meals each of chili with crackers and sour cream and still zero cooking(well, except a microwave) for 2 minutes! Please Wendy's don't start charging for ketchup and...
Read moreWow! Delicious. The flavor was there and quick. I was surprised at how good our order came out. Definitely go here. Update This place has gone down in every aspect. I left a great review before. As you see above. I went inside from working all day and was expecting the same experience. A manager with questionable hygiene took my order. Okay, a bit awkward. But whatever. Then, I stood there with my son waiting for our food, and the staff was just standing there talking. There were pre made nuggets and fries ready to go. I thought uh oh. I think the good staff is no longer here. I thought at least I'm waiting to get a fresh burger. So I asked to use the bathroom and someone had to go unlike the door for me. The lady smelled like cheap low grade Marijuana. She had a strong scent of that odor. After a few minutes. I got out expecting my food to be ready. NOPE! staff was still just standing there talking. Finally a Spanish lady who worked in the back on her way home said something to the folks standing around. Only two of them tried to get our food. They were looking at the screen lost. How? There was no one else there. They give me my food and what do you know. It was the wrong one. 😕 then they said they were gonna make it fresh. NOPE! Stale bread and old nuggets. How is this possible.
I can't wait until all fast food restaurants make the switch and remove humans from cooking and serving and have it all automated. I think that is the only way to maintain quality.
It's a shame though. Many people are going to loose these jobs. But there seems to be a consistent downfall in quality almost everywhere.
Please Wendy's. Get the...
Read moreI had placed a mobile order to pick up at drive thru. I told them my name at the speaker, and got up to the window about 5 minutes later. I sat at the window for about another 5 minutes, then I was asked to pull forward to park and someone will bring it out to the car. After about another ten minutes, I go inside, and stand at the counter to find out what is going on with my order. I was ignored by the two employees counting their drawers, as well as the manager. And the other three employees were kind of oblivious to everything around them. I was expecting to go in and see only two employees. But when I saw there were five, along with another employee on break as well as the manager, I honestly could not believe it. When the manager finally asks the woman who was waiting for an Uber order, who was obviously frustrated due to the wait, she also asks me if I'm going to place an order. I tell her that I hope my order is over there, pointing to a bag and telling her my name. Surprise, not mine. So I guess they get on making the order. And stupid me for not checking. I get home, which is luckily close, to find it's not correct with the toppings for one burger, and the other was entirely wrong. So I drive back to the restaurant, and my partner goes in to talk to them and see about getting the correct order. After going in and dealing with the extremely rude manager, he walks out with the right order, 45 minutes AFTER placing the order. That is without a doubt the SLOWEST "fast food" I've ever received in my life. As far as the manager, how she ever worked up to a management position is...
