I wanted to take a moment to share my experience at V/O Med Spa. The spa is clean. The ambiance is delightful, and I enjoyed the HydraFacial treatment during my first visit.
However, I wanted to bring to your attention some challenges I've encountered with the recent experiences at V/O Med Spa. I've been a consistent customer of med spas and was excited to have one open closer to me. Unfortunately, I've faced a series of issues that have left me feeling quite disappointed.
Following my HydraFacial at V/O Med Spa, I experienced an unexpected acne flare-up. I do NOT blame the HydraFacial. To address this, I opted for a VI peel purify with Precision Plus at V/O Med Spa. Surprisingly, I did NOT experience the typical peeling associated with this treatment. I mean I did not peel at all to the point I questioned if the peel was expired. I get this peel twice a year at my other med spa so I was used to extensive peeling. After discussing my concerns with the team, I was offered a discount on a signature facial and a free VI peel if no improvement or 50% off if there was improvement during my follow-up visit. There was a whole agreement written up.
However, regarding the pricing structure for the signature facial. I've noticed that V/O Med Spa has a current promotion of half off the regular price for the signature facial at the med spa. So, I technically was not getting a deal for the mishap with the VI Peel not working. I spoke with the esthetician about pricing and was told they used an extra service during my appointment but I told her I had an upgrade credit added to my account due to V/O Med Spa canceling an appointment 30 minutes before the appointment.
My esthetician was professional and did a great job on my facial.
Recently, there has been a discrepancy regarding the agreed-upon deal, which has caused confusion and frustration. I went in, took pictures (no improvement btw), and was then quoted to purchase 2 VI peels for 30% off. That was not the original deal. For that, I had to walk away because it felt like a bait and switch especially when you add in the Morpheus situation.
Morpheus Situation: The miscommunication around pricing for the Morpheus special, combined with challenges in providing my card information, has added to the overall sense of unease. The spa manager initially offered me "special deal" on Morpheus (written down) for only the owner seconds later mention the exact same Morpheus deal but cheaper by hundreds of dollars. I left and called back to give the front desk rep my card info over the phone, only for another rep to call a week later asking for my card info again. CRAZY. I was told that rep that originally took my info no longer works there. I just changed my card for security reasons. I understand that misunderstandings can occur, but it seems there might be some internal communication issues that need attention.
I appreciate your understanding and assistance in addressing these concerns.

So here I am at age 47 decided to get my first Platinum Hydrafacial @ V/O Med Spa SoDo... why did I wait so long it was the best experience my face has ever encounteredš I have to admit I was a little nervous wasn't sure what I was in for but glad I had the opportunity to experience. I was greeted by Gabby she was such a ball of energy so friendly and welcoming which helped me to relax and be comfy, she was very helpful in explaining what was about to happen next. I was able to meet the owner Ms Ritika, wonderful lady beautiful establishment and an awesome staff! When she heard it was my first time ever she made sure I had the best treatment! Thank you Ms Ritika. My service was done by the wonderful Sharime! She was very detailed about each and every step. She new exactly what my old damaged face needed! Sharime and her magic hands went to work! I was even lucky enough to get a very relaxing massage as I was getting red light LED treatment with the Hydrafacial Elipsa light, Sharime's magic hands where the icing on the cake to this incredible experience! Overall WOW, Sharime made my face feel 10lbs lighter and look about 10yrs younger š the lymphatic drainage is highly recommended!! Especially since I had concerns of puffiness and have sinus issues I feel like I can breathe a lot better things are flowing more easily so HUGE thank you! When they show you all the dirt that came out in the Gunkie jar, wow oh wow, many disgusting layers couldn't believe it but STILL feel it, amazing and glowing! Back in October, I paid in full for a Morpheus8 + PRP package (3 sessions), but itās been nothing but issues trying to get scheduled. I first booked for 5/6 after calling on 4/29. I never got the usual confirmation text (they typically send one), and when I followed up on the day of, they said they didnāt have the syringes and couldnāt find my appointment. I let it slide and rebooked for 5/22.
Today (5/20), I called to confirm and again was told I wasnāt on the scheduleādespite having booked it while my secretary was with me and adding it to my calendar immediately. After I pushed for answers, the woman finally said the provider is on maternity leave, something I was never told. I had specifically asked before if I was tied to a specific provider and was told no.
When I calmly tried to explain my concerns, the girl on the phone cut me off multiple times, talked over me with a spiteful tone, and wouldnāt let me speak. Then she just hung up on me. It was incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional.
I was never given a receipt or a written contractājust paid upfront. And at this point, Iām honestly scared to even trust them with my face if her tone of voice was spiteful Iām scared they can take it on my face as a revenge. I donāt feel safe going back.
What are my options here to get out of this and possibly get a refund? Has anyone dealt with...
