Two of us arrived for dinner at about 5 pm. Clean looking, cozy and casual atmosphere. Hostess seated us and said server would be right with us. It was at least 5 minutes before server greeted us. Took our drink order and we waited another 5 minutes for drinks to be served. (Dining room wasn't particularly busy at that point.). Placed an appetizer order and our dinner order, one of their specials, regular size prime rib for both of us. Appetizer (crab cakes) took longer than expected to arrive but they were rather good. Restaurant is now getting busier. Hostess is helping bus tables. We notice other diners that were sat after us are being served before us. Also, we did not receive a basket of rolls. Finally able to get server's attention and asked for bread (no apology). When she returned we were served our dinners and the bread at the same time. Both orders of meat were cooked to the same doneness although one was ordered medium rare and other was ordered medium. Also, there was a size difference between the two orders with one being significantly smaller than the other. The taste of the meat was just average but it was tender. We finished and the hostess took our dishes and we waited a significant amount of time to get our check and then waited at least 15 minutes for the transaction to be completed by our server (after another employee pointed out that it needed to be finished). At this point numerous other diners have been served, eaten and left the restaurant. We weren't looking for a fast food meal but we felt overlooked...

Prime Rib. An alleged specialty. Now we were a small party (3),who arrived early one night before the crowd. It was one of the nights that they served prime rib, which I am fond of.
I asked for medium rare. Not difficult.
But they must have set it out LONG before the other entrees for the table. It was cold, as were the mashed potatoes served with it. Let me be clear. Not warm. Stone cold. Not the server's fault. (yet).
In the mean time, my companions food was served. I encouraged them to tuck in, after sending my plate back with the explicit instruction to NOT MICROWAVE IT. This is not vague language.
Ten minutes later, it comes back. The plate is burning hot, and the meat is now GRAY. I cook. This has been nuked. I tell the server to take it back. Now she does attitude. "You should have ordered it the way you wanted it" she snarled.
Oh dear. So now the kitchen's screw up has been expanded. She is now complicit in the mess. "I did. Does that look medium rare to you?" I ask for the manager. He carries away the plate. It comes back in five minutes. Now it's right. Unfortunately, everyone else is done.
What should have been a nice, simple dinner is screwed up. And the prime rib is one of their higher cost items. No discount.
Wow. Poor. The manager the waitress and the kitchen... A perfect trifecta of bad.

Read morehad to be the worse service we have ever had. Nickie was our server, started out the couple next to us came in after us, had their drinks and bread before our server even came over to us, however the hostess did say she had a another table and may be a minute (then why didn't she take our drink order) well we waiting a full ten minutes, then when she did come over the first thing she said was quote"do you know what you want"unquote, i said yes i'll start with a drink ..... The bar is where the money is, that's the first thing they should be asking.....went down hill from there, asked for med. steak tips got raw.... seen three plate go back to kitchen in the 40 minutes we were there,, yes I said 40 minutes, talk about being rushed out of a place, it was not even crowded there at least 7 empty tables (out of like 12 total tables) my wife was finishing her drink with half left and the waitress comes over with the check, didn't even ask if i would like another drink, i would of if she asked but at that point could not be bothered to say anything. we just got up and left, dinner for two and one beer each was 54.00, would of loved to of had a few more drinks and maybe a dessert but like i said it was the worse service ever..... owners should really pay attention to the way servers treat there guests, oh we never did get a basket of bread...
