This place had to be the WORST experience I have ever had with ordering food. We ordered delivery. It didn't start off too bad, the food took a little longer than was necessary, but we could overlook that. The worst part was when the delivery guy showed up and gave us our food. Not only did he look drugged out, he did not even give us the right amount of change at first. We noticed this about a second later and literally had to call out to him because he was running away from our motel door to get away. When we got his attention, it was clear he did not know how to do math, and it took him another good five minutes to give us, what we thought again, was the right amount of change (our order did not even come with a receipt so it was hard to tell). When we finally got that sorted, we brought the food in and realized that we were missing half our meal and that it was pretty cold. We called the place back to tell them this and they literally fought with us, telling us that we didn't order this and we didn't order that. We also realized that the delivery guy did not give as the right amount of change AGAIN when the restaurant clarified that our order was $26 (we paid with 100 and only got back 55). We called the restaurant back after they hung up on us and told them this. Apparently word got back to the delivery man, because he literally called and left us a voice mail telling us how wrong we were. This whole situation was completely and utterly inappropriate and made us feel incredibly uncomfortable. We neither got our proper change back nor got the food that we ordered because we felt so uncomfortable with the thought of this driver coming back.
I will never order at this place again. Nothing could make me want to come back. There was no redeeming factor with this experience. Next time I'll just take the time to pick...
Read moreIt was my favorite Chinese take out. The vegetables were always fresh and served Al dente and they were very generous with the quantity. I would ask them to make the spicy dishes "extra spicy", which would be spot on for my taste buds. Im not a fan of the packaged mustard, so id ask for the house mustard, which was always available. My recent visit turned out to be a large disappointment. I thought the owner/operators finally gave themselves a night off and had their second string cooks in there. Well the veggies were way overcooked and the amount was nothing I had become accustomed to. Thought maybe they hadn't got a delivery or the farmer was on vacation. My Xtra spicy request didn't get heard and there was no house mustard. Wasn't sure if I had gone to the right place. I had seen the owner at the post office and jokingly told him he wasn't allowed to take any more days off. He laughed and said that's all he'll be doing for awhile since they had sold the restaurant. Well that explains a lot. I'll give it a month or so before I go back. It's definitely a challenge running your own business, especially if you're taking over an established one where your customers already have certain expectations realized from the prior owners.. Read moreWorst customer service experience I've had in a LONG time. Decided to order Chinese due to the cold weather. Didn't feel like driving to the usual place so I google and doing this place on the mainland in Ormond that says they deliver. I call, give the address, and they say sure 45 minutes. I'm thinking fantastic. This was at 7:32 pm. I putter around waiting. An hour goes by. No phone call from them, nothing. I call back at 8:42 pm. They confirm the address and say good should be there in 15 minutes. No apology, no nothing. Go back to waiting. 9:04 pm still no food. I called back. They say oh yeah on the way. No I don't think so. I tell them cancel the order is been over an hour and half. No apology, no nothing. Kids on the phone just says "Ok, thanks" and gloss to hang up the phone. I'm like no no no. I want to know when the transaction is cancelled, is there a transaction number, etc? He says please hold. Another 3 minutes goes by. Then a gentleman comes on and says basically it could be up to 7 days for the auth to expire. Still no apology, no attempt to even explain why the food never arrived, why they didn't call if they couldn't find the address, etc. Nothing. I ended up driving to the regular joint up the road and i up getting the order and back home within 15 minutes....
