Gold Leaf Coffee Co. is truly my favorite coffee shop in the world. I grew up in Ormond Beach, and since moving away in 2018, I’ve been on this mission to find a coffee spot that compares. It’s been seven years… and nothing has ever come close.
Every single time I come home to visit, the very first thing I do is go straight to Gold Leaf and order my iced vanilla latte with oat milk. It’s always perfect. Like, unbelievably perfect. I’ve tried lattes in cities all over, and somehow, Gold Leaf still wins every time.
The whole vibe of the place is so special. It’s cozy, creative, and full of personality. The people there are always so kind and genuine… it’s the kind of place that just feels good to be in. And is so welcoming to all.
If you’re in Ormond Beach or even anywhere remotely close, you have to stop by. It’s not just a coffee shop, it’s an experience. I seriously can’t...
Read moreOrmond Beach, FL. This coffee shop is great for introverts and artistic, creative souls. Eclectic paintings, pop art prints, photos and plants adorn the space. You can sit outside in the back where there are about four or five cafe tables. There is a little room to the left as you enter from the parking lot side, and a long wooden bar with a couple high top tables and an armchair seating area near the front of the shop that faces the busy street.
Patrick took my order and explained why their coffee is so good. Patrick crafted an excellent cappuccino for me: not too much foam; coffee art that kept its shape; not too heavy on the milk; deep, balanced flavor.
It felt to me like a coffee shop in Lakeland, for some reason. Laid back, intelligent, creative, focused but not angsty. It’s a good shop for daydreaming or doing remote work. The music...
Read moreI have visited Gold Leaf many times, and they have the best lattes in all of Ormond Beach. I tried the cold brew a few times, was not a fan because of how strong and acidic it was, but I've heard a lot of people still enjoy it, so it may just be a preference thing. I've just been sticking with the iced lattes and they are fantastic! Cappuccino is excellent too, and pretty with latte art. It's all in the espresso, which is really strong and has just a great flavor. The service is always quick and baristas are very friendly! The atmosphere is inviting, making a great environment for studying or just to relax. The prices are pretty typical, compared to most of the coffee spots in the area. I would definitely recommend Gold Leaf to all...
