This is long over due. I worked at this location for over 1 year before I left this miserable work place. In this time, I worked under 3 different managers. My first two managers were great. I never once had any issues with them, however, when Christina became the General Manager of Rubios everything went downhill and fast. I think it should speak volumes that Liz (previous general manager) quit after years with the company due to how they treat their employees, followed by our previous assistant manager withdrawing her request to be transferred when she moved for what complete trash this company is. Christina was my first assistant manager. She has always been disgustingly rude, with no knowledge on how to lead a team. Christina becoming the general manager of Rubios is and will continue to be this locations down fall. If you are a regular customer you may have realized the familiar faces in this store are rare. The turnover rate since Christina took over this store is a joke. I mean in the last week 3 people quit without notice. The fact that no one in the company can seem to understand that Christina doesn’t know how to run this store is beyond me, but I suppose not so shocking considering I reported sexual harassment to Human Resources and never heard ANYTHING back from them regarding this even though they said they were investigating. Christina even having knowledge of this happening never once did anything about it. I told Christina multiple times how I was being treated in this store and never once did she do anything about it. My sister also works at this location and I am her guardian. My report not only regarded myself but how she had been treated in this store, and again there was absolutely no response. After I made this report, district manager Wendy came to talk to Christina as well as the employee this was in regards to but did not bother to speak a word to me, mind you again this was in regards to sexual harassment. Christina has made multiple different employees feel uncomfortable, the environment of Rubios is very much hostile and not to mention absolutely filthy. Christina does not know how to step up as a manager, and has no skills in being self aware. There is no thorough training of employees, so Rubios is stuck with employees who have no idea what they are doing because she has no idea how to train or again, MANAGE. I think the way a company treats their employees should speak volumes, and anyone deserves to know who they are giving their money too. Considering Christina has always targeted a minor in the LGBTQ community (many many employees have seen this behavior) is enough for me to never spend a dime in this disgusting store. The way employees are treated by their manager show in the way a store is ran, it shows in the service they receive. Customers don’t deserve to spend their money on a company who cares more about the numbers than the service they provide. Someone needs to hear what customers are saying. This store is ridiculous, it is a complete joke and that is no ones fault but the joke of a manager that is running it. Someone needs to pull their head, get a change of management and maybe you’ll get better reviews or maybe even some real ones compared to the obvious fake ones Rubios pays for to make themselves...

When I walked in no one was at the front service area to greet anyone, I stood there for 5 minutes waiting on the cashier (I hope she was the cashier , heavy lash girl) to come to the front so I can get my order. She didn’t come out until some else walked in and a lady shouted for her by her name. Also I saw 3 people in the open kitchen area looking down on the phones with their back facing away from me. I know that answering myself to get their attention is the only way you can get service or make yourself know but I was waiting watching TikTok videos with the volume on so they knew I was there. After I left I trusted that my order was right but I was died wrong they put guacamole on both my orders and when I called the manager said that I have to request for it to be removed, I didn’t get that option online but that’s ok I’ll just take that the “L” but when I asked about the second order of fries because I only got one, she stated that the cook put them all in one. What sense does that make and the amount was a small handful in a tiny bag. Clearly they cook said that because they didn’t read the order right and was to busy looking at their phone to give an damn. So I don’t believe a word that manager said because she can’t seem to give her staff proper instructions on staying at the front, not being on your phones all the time and paying attention to what you are doing. Read moreHave been coming here for a few years now. Usually a great experience. Ordered a bowl to go and went to the left side/cashier to Pick up. Which I have done for years. There were other people in the line To the left of me. Waiting to order.. As I got to the front the gal with (not sure her name but has arm tattoos and green polo shirt) when I told her I had an order to go said "you should wait in line you are cutting in front of all the other guests" I apologized every order on the past had been picked up that way. When I apologized she and went to the back of the line she rolled her eyes then said something to the cook in the back. I am sure there is a process which I definitely could have been doing it fully incorrect this entire time but there could be a little more class and tact in sharing that. Instead of broadcasting in front of the establishment. In addition you really should smile and great people with a welcoming face. When I got to the correct cashier, she a younger gal, her hair was on top of her head falling down in a large bun in her face and she looked like she had just rolled out of bed. It is a good establishment. She then said with out a greeting "what's your order?." I do realize it's a different time but customer service, class, and verbiage should definitely still be existent.
