Food review, probably would have been a 5 but....
Family wanted Andy's ice cream after spending the day at Big Surf.
Never been to this Andy's location and we won't return, we will continue to get our Andy's fix in Springfield.
When placing my order I asked if they had chocolate chip cookie dough the employee said they did, I gave him my order he asked vanilla or chocolate I responded with vanilla, what he tried to give me was not what I ordered, his response with some body language was we won't remake it you will have to pay for another one, I walked over to where my family was enjoying their ice cream, I thought for a moment, went back to the ordering window I ask him (same person) to speak with the manager guess who the manager is yep him, I asked for the store owners phone number, he proceeds to the back and brings out the general store manager, I informed him that my order was not right and your punk manger won't correct this, told him why would someone who doesn't consume chocolate ice cream order chocolate ice cream, General Manager said don't call my manager a punk, I said ok, since I didn't get what I ordered I want it refunded, the original manager never offered to refund he would have been ok for me to just walk away without. The Manager stood there and stated I ordered chocolate, no I didnt!
They need to work on customer service, THE MANAGER needs to listen and learn customer service. Employees don't make mistakes? Hmmmmmm and loose the body language.
Do the Andy's owners think that this is OK? Their staff messes up an order and it's on the patron to purchase another instead of correcting it and making it right.
Andy's you might want to install cameras with voice at this location.
Never heard of a business where the staff is right and the...
Read moreStopping by Andy’s Frozen Custard in Osage Beach, MO, was one of the highlights of my trip! I’d heard great things, but it still exceeded my expectations. As soon as I arrived, the smell of fresh custard and the lively, inviting atmosphere drew me in. Even with a line, the service was quick and friendly, and the staff seemed genuinely enthusiastic about helping each customer.
I ordered the Ozark Turtle Concrete, and it was absolute heaven in a cup. The custard was rich, creamy, and packed with caramel, pecans, and chocolate – perfectly blended for that smooth, melt-in-your-mouth experience. It was a nice surprise that they offered such generous portions, too! I tried a bite of my friend’s Strawberry Shortcake Sundae, and it was equally delicious, with fresh strawberries and a light, fluffy cake.
The location is also a big plus, right off the main strip and close to the lake, making it a perfect treat stop. Andy’s has plenty of seating outside, so you can enjoy your custard while taking in the Osage Beach vibes. For anyone with a sweet tooth in the area, Andy’s Frozen Custard is a must-visit. I’ll...
Read moreI'm in no way a dessert fan but WOW!. Stopped here and got 2 concretes, cone and zarlengos Italian ice. Young lady who was ringing us up was very nice and was laughing at the small family disagreements we were having over what to try. Zarlengos we are very familiar with so 1 of the kids got that. Reminded us of home not as good as it is from their stand though. Oldest kid got a single vanilla custard cone. As I handed it to him and he tasted this simple cone he made a face of pure delight. The youngest started into his m&m cookie dough concrete and he made the same face! They both said it was amazing as they continued to gobble it up. Well as I got to try a butter pecan concrete for myself I must say... Holy cow! This was really amazing. I'm in no way a fan of any kind of dessert items etc. But as a whole day has passed since this has passed by my lips I must say I am actually craving to taste it again. We plan to stop there a few more times before we leave. We tried a place up the street last year and nonof us thought it was anything special. This place here though is truly a...
