Aug 17, 2023 - Oshkosh, WI. = Placed order through your online portal at approximately 7:30pm and was told that the order would be ready for pickup by 8:00pm. Went to the store and arrived a minute or two ahead of time just in case things were out early. Let me tell you… a group of people started collecting in the lobby area waiting for their takeout orders. At first, six people with 8pm orders, then another few showed up. Nothing moved for about 20 minutes and always a different staff coming around asking what we were waiting for. No real answers. Some people started to get food after 25 minutes, but quickly came back as they were missing sauces or even one person’s food was completely cold and hard. My friend and I continued to wait and wait, at the 35 minute mark, a large group of about 11 guys came in and were seated immediately. Time came and went, more people being seated. Only two takeout orders completed since 8pm. Waited some more, staff kept going in and out of bathrooms, walking around. We would go 10 to 15 minutes without any staff to talk to at the counter (several times the phone rang without anyone to pick it up). Over time, I was asked my name by staff a total of 5 times and they would go back to the kitchen without returning. There was a group of about 15 people in the lobby waiting and were starting to become friends over this experience, sharing our disappointment. At 9:05 we were told our food was currently being bagged up. The guy went to the kitchen, waited a few minutes, came out and went into the bathroom without a word. We then noticed the group of 11 guys had already gotten their food (AFTER BEING SEATED 35 MINUTES AFTER WE SHOULD HAVE ALREADY HAD OUR FOOD). It was not until 9:25 that a waitress walked by and noticed us still standing and so I asked to cancel my order, she did immediately get the manager. I showed the manager the order confirmation and he said he would be able to refund us. He then checked the order out on the computer, which didn’t seem to be working very well for him, and determined our food was indeed ready. He walked to the kitchen for a couple minutes and came out with food. Provided, he did refund us half our ticket, but after waiting nearly two hours since we placed the order, I was shocked he didn’t refund us completely. I can’t even count how many other people were served before us (including several door dash orders). The manager was at least a little helpful and the one waitress did apologize, but the other 5 or 6 staff we talked to didn’t help at all. One staff member said they were swamped with orders almost blaming us for being there (but yet the seating area was 1/4 full and it took 25 minutes for a single takeout to leave the building). This is absolutely unacceptable service and quite frankly the worst takeout experience I can recollect. Oh and the food was mediocre, too; with fries that sounded like I was biting into a carrot. For the reference, we ordered a total of 30 boneless wings, it’s not like that’s a huge order to complete, especially in front of a large group of 11 guys who ordered nearly an hour after us. Read moreIt has been a long time since I have been to BWW. In fact, the reason I left is because of the Pepsi relationship. Recently, I was given gift certificates for BWW, I was looking forward to using them. Yesterday, my wife and I stopped in for our old staple, the chicken tenders, and Onion Rings. An important point is that prior to BWW signing with Pepsi, my wife and I, along with our three adult children, spouses, and grandchildren, had been weekly customers for years. Anyhow, yesterday, we decided to give BWW a try again. It did not go well. We were seated promptly, but waited at least 15 minutes for a server, which was okay since there was football on, and I was trying to figure out your new version of trivia. When I last played, it was ntn. I think we were a plus players we played alot. When our server arrived, we ordered right away because we knew what we wanted. Not being a Pepsi fan, I had an NA, but my wife did suffer through the diet pepsi. She ordered naked tenders, I ordered breaded. We ordered the onion rings. After at least 25 minutes our order came. My initial thought was the tenders were tiny as were the rings. The breaded rings and tenders were both pale and did not have a golden color. My wife immediately said her wings were done but were not very warm, I felt my tenders were rubbery like they were not cooked completely. The rings were done but small. I am squeamish about chicken and did take more than a bite off each one and did not finish them. The server asked if I wanted a box, and I said no. I do not send things like this back to the kitchens because I do not trust the staff. We didn't complain, it wasn't her fault, but I think she knew. I still have some money left on the card to use up. We will not return to this location. I doubt that I will try tenders again, but would go for the wings with the bone or a burger. I would definitely have instructions about how I would like the food prepared when I order. I never did get the trivia to work, and I took the app off my phone. Read moreWe have been into this restaurant probably 4 times in the last year. The first time the service was super slow (took a server 10 minutes to even acknowledge us) and then the food took an hour. While I didn’t care so much about the wait, when we did get our food, the wings were hard and overcooked and you could tell the food had been sitting for a while under the heat lamps. The next 3 visits… yes we tried THREE times to go back and give it a try. Each time it appear the dining room was closed and only the bar area open… there’s always only maybe 5-6 tables in there but you can tell they don’t have any servers but the bartender and a manager. And it’s extremely uncomfortable every time you go in there because you sit down and you see the bartender and supervisor/manager just seethe with disdain that we were there. We waited about 5-10 minutes each time but what’s funny is every time we’ve been in there.. the tables are all talking to each other like don’t stick around, it’s bad… and the manager sits there and stares at you like you’ve personally offended them for being there. But like if you’re that busy, why are you just standing there watching your bartender do all the work? HELP. I get it, you’re short staffed. It’s exhausting and soul crushing… however, you don’t even acknowledge your guests and say “hey, here’s the situation”… instead you angry pout and stare at us like we don’t belong and you see the bartender just running around wild, audibly sighing so the whole restaurant can hear and rolling your eyes. It’s honestly really sad what this restaurant/chain has become. This chain used to do such a good business. You have decent wings… that’s why we chose to keep trying and come back but we have put our foot down and will never return. There’s a reason you still have staffing issues and my guess is because no one wants to work for your company. You have toddlers in charge now and they clearly lack the care and attention to run the restaurant. DO NOT COME HERE.
