This is world-class customer service. I had just come from a bad jeweler experience at a different store and needed to find a different diamond. I was jaded by the experience I had elsewhere and was contemplating just buying online. I was so sick of salesmen selling me broken and poor-quality diamonds. But when Master Goldsmith Thieu Nguyen told me about his commitment to finding me the perfect diamond in my budget, I was very impressed. I've never heard anyone, in any industry, speak with such compassion. So I decided to trust him and I'm so glad I did.

Master Goldsmith Thieu Nguyen is extraordinary. He is unrelenting in his dedication to perfection. Not only that, but he treats every customer like a member of his own family. Mr. Nguyen and his family were a breath of fresh air. They say "there are no friends in the diamond business," but Mr. Nguyen is the closet thing. He knows this industry and will go above and beyond to provide you with the finest diamond for your budget.

He essentially took a defective ring (purchase from a different store), helped me find a quality diamond for it and then fixed the setting of the ring to fit the new diamond so I wouldn't have to pay for an all-new setting. But it wasn't even just the fact that he fixed what the previous jeweler couldn't, Mr. Nguyen leveled with me as a human being. Too often jewelry stores thrive on this "intimidation" environment. I was so excited to visit A&A for their build your own jewelry event early December 2023. My friend had worked with A&A on a piece before and had a great experience, so I was really looking forward to the event, especially because it was advertised as something that could be more affordable and as if they were getting rid of inventory and extending that "sale" to the customer.

The experience I had in store picking out what I wanted and designing went fine, but the experience after was awful. I drove from 2.5 hours away to the event, and all communication after was done over email. There were multiple times where I asked for updates and was told it "shouldn't be too much longer", and weeks went by with no update on when I could expect even a CAD render of my design. My design was fairly straightforward I thought, a solitaire ring in sterling silver, and I was extremely disappointed with the lack of communication I received. I went with a friend to this event and after discussing with her she had a similar experience. There were posts made on social media about when to expect pieces from the event specifically to be done (before Christmas), yet as a customer I could not get a response or any updates on my ring.

Overall, I feel as though the event was falsely advertised and the timelines that were given were not at all what was realistic to complete the pieces. My ring was finished over 6 weeks past the expected date they were posting online (received early February), which would not have been a huge deal had I been told that it would be delayed, or even told a date at all.

I had high hopes and was really excited to have a piece from A&A, but I am sad to say that I would never recommend them...

I knew I wanted a ring from A&A from the very beginning, and my now husband was made well aware of that. He knew exactly what I wanted, so I had a pretty good idea of what it was going to look like, but it ended up being more special and sentimental than I could ever have imagined! They helped incorporate the little diamond from my mothers original wedding ring into mine, while still keeping it that solitaire that I wanted.

Alyssa custom designed a gorgeous wedding band, to add to it, and after I asked to change it up last minute, Alyssa went out of her way, and personally brought our bands to our doorstep the night before. If that isn't service at it finest, I can't tell you what is!

This family continues to impress me though....I decided I wanted my 2 rings soldered together, and dropped it off with Thieu, and he had it back to me the same day. Unfortunately the next day I noticed 2 little diamonds missing. It turns out neither of us realized that the rings were 2 different sizes, which is how this happened. Thieu INSISTED that I bring it in, right away, on the WEEKEND, so that he could recast the whole thing, replace the lost diamonds, and make it right. Free of charge. This is not something you will find at box stores. The A&A team stands behind their work 100%.

I am now an official "collector of the orange boxes", as I have many pieces from them, and can't wait for more! Thank you A&A for being such a huge part...
