One of the best places to get dumplings in the fox valley area. Truly one of the only places that I always feel satisfied coming back again and again! I have only gone there to try all their different types of dumplings and buns. Everything arrived hot and packed with flavor. Great service. They also have one of those robot tray delivery.
The soup dumplings had a decent amount of soup in it and had dept of flavors. I enjoyed the seasoning mix they used for the pork and soup gelatin mixture.
Char Siu Baos still had steam when it arrived. The dough was light, airy, and bouncy. The roasted pork inside was well covered with sauce. Decent meat to bun ratio.
Pork Sanji was also packed with multi dimensional flavours. Perfectly seared on both sides. The bun has a nice balance of crisp and soft chewy texture. Pork mixture itself was very well seasoned.
Beef Sanji did not have the same level of depth that the pork Sanji provided. Although it tasted fine, I prefer the pork flavor for something that was more well rounded together.
Korean pancake could've been pan fried a little be longer to get a nice crisp. The dough inside left a little undercooked but still chewy never the less. I do not think I would get this again. I will have to try one of the other flavors.
Everything we ordered was harmonious, even the soy sauce on the side that had a slight hint of ginger.
Maybe one day they can expend to serve dim...
Read moreThe pork fried (half moon) and beef sanji (round) dumplings are excellent! I especially like the seasoning of the pork dumplings, including the scallions. There is a "crust" that forms with the pan-frying of the dumplings, but don't let their appearance fool you-- these are amazing. I believe that the beef lo mein could use more umami flavor and note that this style isn't "beery" like some other lo mein out there, if that's what you're into. The sauce of the general tsos is very good, especially ordered as extra spicy as shown here. There is more breading on the chicken than preferred and many of the smaller pieces were unfortunately pure breading. The portions were very generous, leaving plenty for leftovers. Not pictured is the matcha strawberry drink, which I really liked. Be sure to specify if you want pearls in your drink as it didn't automatically come with it and I forgot to request it.
We will definitely be back for the excellent dumplings and tsos! I highly recommend...
Read moreDefinitely recommend. Beef sanji - very good, like a slightly oily breakfast meatball with a slight seasoning to it in the normal floppy dumpling like wrapping. Pork friend dumplings - good, my wife loved them, I thought they were pretty good, some of the best I've had for a while. Beef Lo Mein - not the strongest flavor, garlic'y, the meat was nicely blended in it, big serving. General tsos - nicely cooked broccoli, the sauce was very good, suggest getting very very spicy. it had a bunch of garlic in it, which is unusual but it worked out very well, big fan. The chicken however was about half breading. Every small piece was just straight breading. I had leftovers the next day, so it got to soak in the sauce overnight, but it still just felt like I was...
