Burger King — Restaurant in Oshkosh

Options are limited for BK in Oshkosh. There is this one and one more on Main St.

I unfortunately frequent this location and was not going to bother leaving a review of a moderately below par fast food place as I don't usually like leaving bad reviews. Wait times are un-usually long, food is at or slightly below what you expect from a fast food place, and the staff while seeming miserable, communicate enough to get my food made. I really didn't care that much though so I just dealt with it, half smiled and went on with my day.

That was until today...

I ordered identical meals with the same sandwich, same drink, and in the same size. No special instructions or requests. Two sandwiches as they come, fries, and a drink.

I order, pay, and drive home only to discover that one of the two sandwiches we ordered was completely missing. I'm writing this as my fiance eats one of the two sandwiches we ordered. I had her call the place and tell them about it. The guy who answered said that they'll write her name down so the next time we come in we can get a free sandwich. At this point, I don't think there will be a next time. There are plenty of other fast food places on Washburn as well as across 41 on Kohler that I haven't had any issues with.

I am leaving 2 stars simply because nothing horrendous happened. But the thought that I need to check my food for items completely missing is beyond what I consider reasonable. Even...

Would like to speak to the owner. I had to waste over 15 minutes driving back and forth around the drive thru today. The manager said it was because the crew member didn't know they served what I wanted, so she kept giving me the same wrong thing over again. The lady on register at 11:30 today was smug also about the situation. They would not give me money back on the third try, and the crew member was exclaiming "ughhhh," and popping her tongue that I was still trying to get the right order. After the third time there were no sorries- or helping me especially with the fact that I had to carry two drinks in my arms while driving because of this. I work in customer service/sales; and this is not the place for that apparently!!! I now have to resume work with orange drink all over my sweater and jeans. Coupons and bad communication with this situation from your establishment does not make up for it. I didn't even ask the managers- nor the staff members names because they genuinely did not seem to care. The order taker sounded redundant and tired of repeating her opening statement before asking for the order every single time going around, also laughing and not engaged at all...

Usually when I go to a Burger King in Oshkosh it isn’t my first choice. This one is always my choice over the other one though. I can’t say I’ve ever had a bad experience or bad food. I have had times where it could have been better, but nothing that warranted a complaint. However this last Thursday these guys amazed me all around. My semi broke down for the second time that day. It died pulling in to the lot there and I had to wait for a wrecker. So I thought why not. I’ll go grab dinner while I wait. I got to the door to see the inside was closed due to staffing. I walked back to my truck frustrated. But then I had an idea. I downloaded the mobile app and put together my order. Then I called the store and asked if I submitted it if they would just meet me at the door with it. They said absolutely! So I did and walked back to the door. They didn’t meet me at the door. They let me in to wait. My food came to me super hot and just made. They could have easily and politely said no and it wouldn’t have been any fault of their own and I would have understood. But they didn’t. I wish more places took drivers in to consideration in situations like this. A huge thank you...
