Had great service. Negatives- Got there, told it would be about a 25-30 min wait. Ok... NP, that is, until I see 9 people standing at the desk doing nothing! 4 were servers. That's obnoxious. One retired server to this restaurant, you had at least 20 open tables, there's appetizers, there's several servers doing nothing at the desk- seat your customers. My kid's broccoli wasn't cooked tonight. Server said that it should all be cooked together, so she wasn't sure why it wouldn't be cooked. That's as far as that one went, which is fine, my kids said something on it towards the end of the meal, so not sure what could be done unless she would take the cost off.. though $3 for cooked broccoli, you kinda want it to be cooked to pay that much.. But it was raw, side by side with mine, huge color difference. Only other thing. Not sure why but the amount of sauce they put on the Alfredo with the fettuccini noodles is SO much MORE then when they put it over the gluten free noodles (which are much better tasting in my opinion). I get that there's gluten in the sauce, but sometimes you just want the better noodles but you definitely need the same amount of sauce. No one likes dry noodles that I know of at least & we really enjoy the meal.... At least we do when it's cooked and when there's enough sauce. One of these days we hopefully won't have dry noodles, it was closer today than it's ever been in the past. Got to eat half of it without asking for more, but that's all the sauce that was there. Enough for half- still a lot more then normally is put on it at least. That half was great for me. Kid was disappointed for her broccoli but enjoyed her noodles & chicken. Hubby had a shrimp meal that he really enjoyed as well.
Over all, rest of the food was good. Bread sticks and salad are always good. Soup was really good....
Read moreI have never been so insulted at the way my family and I were treated as when we came here to eat last night. I was in a group of 7; 3 adults 4 young children, the looks of disgust from the hostess, the cold demeanor in which our order was taken and the absence of simple manners by our waitress were almost too much to even keep us waiting for our food. I don't know if the fact that we had these kids made a difference but from the minute we walked through the door we were getting stares and could feel the contempt. The food was also a huge disappointment. We waited at least 30 minutes before our appetizer even got to us and the food was terrible. The stuffed mushrooms tasted as if they sat in the window for a very long time, the chicken alfredo had no taste, the peach moscato chicken was ok at best, and the teriyaki chicken was hard, rubbery and overcooked. The sangria was great the first time round and the second time tasted more like flavored ice than an alcoholic drink! Very unimpressed. We were given coupons to use at a different time and I have to say that we left them on the table along with a $5 tip. I fought to give the tip as the other 2 adults at the table were opting not to give a tip at all but felt the insult of the way we were treated was better conveyed with at least a tip for taking our order. I will never go here again and I am very offended that a nice family dinner, which are far and few between for parents with young children was turned into a tense, judgmental filled dinner by the staff at...
Read moreAfter ordering online, $50-60 I had to drive all the way back to the restaurant to retrieve what they didn’t give us…and then get treated as if a $10 gift certificate is gonna make up for everything …even though they wouldn’t do a simple add-on for a grilled chicken to the Alfredo when they are the ones that screwed it up in the first place!
We had ordered a tour of Italy and asked to Forgo the chicken Parmesan and instead to give us an extra lasagna so basically two lasagnas and a fettuccine Alfredo with an add chicken but instead of that happening we got two chicken Parmesan so I had to go back to get lasagna since none of us wanted the chicken Parm we didn’t get the boat of Alfredo for our breadsticks or extra breadsticks either
Needless to say I’m not even gonna use the $10 gift card and didn’t want it because that isn’t gonna help us with anything that occurred Plus it was later in the evening when we first ordered so I had to rush back to the restaurant to make sure they didn’t close on us
We had all been looking forward to eating at the O. G. and it had been a little while so it was very disappointing
This place used to be one of our favorites, so it’s just sad because that is a very simple meal and I don’t know how they could confuse the notation to sub a lasagna in place of a chicken Parm and still wind up sending us two chicken parms that...
