Rosati's Pizza — Restaurant in Oswego Township

In all honesty I don't think I've ever taken the time to actually write a bad review. That being said I used to order from this particular Rosatis probably once a week. Ordering for at least 2 if not 3 people so you can imagine it was not exactly cheap. Also I tipped the drivers very well. I don't what changed but after 2 straight times of the food being a joke and then also forgetting simple things like marinara sauce & cucumber sauce for a gyro. I decided I would let them know the next time I ordered of the problems I had. Not only did the person not care but then they screwed up again. After 3 straight mishaps I was done. I thought about calling to let them know it happened literally an hour after I had brought it to their attention. I then realized why bother. They didn't care before, so why waste my breath & time for nothing. I simply made the choice to never order from there again. I'm pretty sure that it won't matter to them I'm writing this review either. If they happen to read this review I will say this. I'm not some cheap a** who was trying to get free food. I simply wanted them to realize that hey I spend probably at least $150 a month not including tipping their drivers at least 25% if not more. Is it that much to ask for you to make sure the food I order is right? Mistakes happen I understand, however 3 times in a row? I apologize but that's just ridiculous...

undercooked limp wet crust when i picked up the pizza slice it was limp and the toppings just fell off.and even the crust fell apart , $45 for a 14” pizza it was a thin crust with pepperoni sausage and a slice of green pepper (no tomatoes) in my picture . I called the restaurant to let them know, something i never do, and when i asked if i could bring it back for a re-make because i couldn’t even pick up the slice and the crust was wet, I was told they use fresh tomatoes and that i didn’t request a extra crispy crust, and i was asked if I wanted to pay for another one!? Seriously!? a good crust should be able to hold the toppings pizza 101 …. it was like pulling teeth, from the lady with dark black hair with lots of grey, over the phone , there was a lot of silent moments because she wasn’t budging at 1st , that made it awkward and not the best experience. I did get a remake eventually and said no tomato’s this time. and it was still a limp pizza…that you couldn’t pick up…. had to eat it with fork i’ve never had a bad experience before. By far the best pizza joint in town, this is what i call authentic Chicago pizza. Staff is very helpful and informative when placing catering orders and are very friendly each time i go in there to pick up my food, not to mention the cooks are always consistent with the delicious food they make, i have also ordered for delivery and the drivers go above and beyond. Make sure you ask for specials! Every time i order there is always a special so you get a great price for what you order, even free delivery sometimes! I recommend this place for authentic pizza for my friends out of state and for anyone who is looking for some good pizza and wings! Great...
