A nice little novelty treats cafe. They have something called Paleta, which to me is like a candied ice cream with a distinctly different taste. I think the biggest difference, is that this paleta stuff tastes way more subtle and not overbearingly artificially sweet like commercial ice cream (but the chocolate dips and toppings still taste the same as anywhere because it's still the same artificial stuff).
The fruit toppings and juices are fresh, and they make the juices and horchata from scratch (better tasting than if you just go to a everyday Mexican food place and they serve you stuff out of the packet or with syrups mixed in).
The lady at the counter was nice, and even gave me a run-down of what they have there.

Read moreSo yummy! Traditional Mexican paleta with all kinds of dips and fruits to combine them with. The girls actually opted to have a Dubai, which was fresh strawberries with chocolate and numerous toppings which they loved but I thought was was too sweet which they pointed out was the reason it is "dubai" as in excessive! They also have some traditional treats like elote, which is sweet corn with a tangy white cheese, cream, and some spicy toppings to make it just perfect. I had that and it was yummy. They also have a really well crafted variety of natural "waters" we tried cucumber lime a 10, watermelon also a 10 and a friend had the blueberry lemonade but said it was sour, you know like leamonade🤣 Warning it is a bit pricey in my personal bank accounts opinion so be prepared but for us it was a worthwhile indulgence while not going to be a weekly trip it will be a...
