Hello everyone. I used to be employed at this location. I would like to start this off by talking about the poor management. They communicate everything to everyone but you on where you can improve. They don't fire you, instead they simply stop scheduling you and ghost you when you reach out. I'm surprised this location is still open. While working here there was a lack of sanitation, a lack of professionalism, and consistent drama! On my FIRST day I was getting yelled at by one of the managers for not understanding how to do something. I was a minor at the time as well and they kept me overtime on somedays because I wasn't finished "closing." If you're a new employer there, be ready they make you do everything while the managers are sitting in the office the entire time on their phones. I would also like to make it known the training programs are horrible. The only source they provide you with is the videos you do on the computer. I had to ask a CREW member to help me understand how to do something because the managers were too lazy. If you have an type of allergies or if you're vegan do not eat at this location. The cross-contamination is so bad! Lastly, they make the work environment chaotic by making you work multiple positions at once. For instance I was almost always bakery, but I was being demanded to help drive thru too? DO NOT work at this location unless you're ready to be de-valued as an individual. They love harassing minors! This isn't just me complaining, I have several people who are going to HR about this. We are working together to unfold the unprofessionalism at this location. To begin, they almost never have any bagels in stock after 2 PM and this problem has been ongoing for years now, one would think that they would realize that they sell out of bagels everyday so that more should be created, but no they do not. Now to this latest experience at this location, Christine and Tiana are not great at all. I ordered a half dozen bagels to then be told they don't have this many of a type in stock then get to piece meal a half dozen to only get to the window to pay to end up paying for 8 bagels not 6, even ones I did not order. Then I asked for them to be sliced and they were not as well. Stayed in drive thru went through again to get this correct, no apologies were given and ended up waiting 10 minutes in drive thru to get this accomplished. Then get the receipt back and they only took off the two extras not the rest for the inconvenience. So then I walk in and get looked at as if I am a problem maker even though they screwed it up and asked for a full refund because of all the problems, which I was given as she took back the bagels, looked across the way to the garbage can and threw them in the garbage and once again no apologies, this will be my LAST time at this location and corporate will hear about this as well. Attached are pictures of the receipts so you can see this is not made up but fully truthful and please observe the times as well on them, this shows how much time was wasted for NOTHING at the end of it. Read moreStaff is wonderful, nice light food - but my 2 business partners and I went in, ordered a late lunch and 3 teenagers sat at the table next to us, we got our food started a non-formality meeting and the teens who ordered nothing started laughing loudly with CONSTANT OBSCENITIES - VERY VULGAR. We stopped our meeting and I informed a manager, if he would PLEASE address the problem, he said he would and did NOTHING. We looked at each other as the teens volume and disgusting obscenities continued. Paul, pointed out that clearly other patrons at other tables were disturbed also.
I know school is out, but we as a polite society and friendly town, do not have to live like Oviedo, is CHICAGO! Panera should have addressed this because we had to leave our lunches on the table, and LEAVE ! While the teens ordered NOTHING. I’ve enjoyed eating at Panera for approximately 5 years, nice food and staff. However, if they can’t address or rectify a CLEAR problem, THAT WAS BROUGHT TO THEIR ATTENTION, then I will eat and meet elsewhere.
