The first time I ever tried chipotle was when this one opened up in owasso. About 2 weeks ago in went inside this location and ordered a steak burrito with beans, white rice, cheese, and 2 different salsa's. It was made well and had lots of meat. The salsa's were very flavorful, and the burrito itself was huge. For the price it was not bad. About 5 days ago I had an offer on Uber eats to get a discount on an order, so I decided to use it at this chipotle since my first experience ever was pretty good. Well that's when I had a terrible experience and the reason I'm giving a 1 star. I ordered 2 burritos and chips and queso. Even with the discount on Uber eats I ended up paying more for each burrito than you would in person. I have seen on YouTube shorts where people say don't order from chipotle because they jip you since you aren't in person to see how they make your burrito. I thought it was a lie for the views, but this turns out to be very true. Although I paid more for the burritos I had delivered, they were much, much smaller than the burrito I originally got in person. I ordered the same exact items on the delivered burritos as I did in person. On top of that, although both burritos had the exact same thing on them, I weighed them because there was such a huge discrepancy in the size of them. Sure enough one weighed 574 grams and the other weighed 663 grams. Why is there such a huge difference? But it gets worse. The burrito I ordered in person had very modest amount of rice and beans, but the burritos I had delivered had literally almost all rice. There was hardly any meat at all on them unlike the first time I went to this chipotle. Also, I ordered the same 2 salsa's yet there was zero flavor from the salsa's in the burritos I ordered. It was almost like they just forgot to put the salsa on there. Overall if you ever go to this chipotle, first I'd say save your money and make a better burrito at home, but if you do anyway, absolutely do not order and have it delivered. Unfortunately you need to be in person to make sure the workers do their job and make a proper burrito. Probably won't ever go here again unless I have some huge discount and even then I will go in person to make sure they actually give you what...
Read moreThis place has been open for a few months now and they still don't really have it together. This location has a ChipotLane which is a drive thru for pick up orders and if you choose this option you'll lose 30 minutes of your time. I think some may think it is a drive thru for ordering or something.
Ordering online through the app has been unsuccessful also bc I'll wait 20 extra min after the done time. Grub hub and Uber eats drivers are inside hustling the staff to expedite their orders so you'll be pushed back due to deals that the delivery services use.
The fastest way to get your food is get in the regular line and get it to go. Also you can see your food get prepared the way you want. You're just going to go without quesadillas bc that's online only although they make them once you arrive for your online pickup and causes an extra wait. I have seen people leave sooner by just getting in line while I wait for an online order that was due 15 min ago.
A suggestion would be to axe the ChipotLane. Some think it's something it's not.
The food is Chipotle, you know what to expect. If you haven't been to an airport or food court somewhere it's a simple menu that takes less than a minute to decide. Chips are usually stale or under cooked most of the time. Good luck on the left hand turn on your way out. Would have been better in the JCP empty...
Read more*ANOTHER FREAKING UPDATE We have been here a handful of times and it's hit or miss. Some days we get decent portions and others they are so tiny. Our last visit was the worst, ordered a steak bowl and she only had about 6 pieces of steak left in the pan, she scraped it and sent me on my way with barely any steak. My husband said he is done, consistency is important and we feel like we're getting ripped off every other time we visit.
UPDATE We decided to try Chipotle one more time, we just love them so much. Total turnaround. The portions were much bigger, the food was hot and fresh, the employees were so friendly, and everything tasted amazing. It was like being in a totally different restaurant! I changed my rating from one star to 5:00, this was perfect. I am so excited!!
Chipotle is my all-time favorite restaurant and I was so excited that they were coming to Owasso. This place is terrible :-( The portions are really small, the employees have no idea what they're doing, the wait time is crazy long, and the store is very small. We have gone 3 times hoping that it would get better and it actually managed to get worse every time. The last bowl I got wouldn't feed a 5 year old. And the prices for what you get,...
