Do not eat at this Chipotle establishment. They will most likely get your order wrong or one of their employees will accost you for wanting to use a free meal. I never, and I mean never, leave bad reviews on restaurants, but this one hit differently.
Two weeks ago, I ordered online and went through the drive-thru to pick it up. When I got home, the food was completely wrong. I don't mean a little wrong—I mean I ordered X and they gave me Y. Not sure what happened; I worked in fast food for six years, and mistakes happen. No big deal.
I went onto the Chipotle portal, and they gave me two free entrees and a free chips and queso. Fantastic, now I get two meals for one, right? Wrong.
I came into Chipotle to eat inside this time. Ordered the exact same meal, and the girl at the register said the computer wouldn't allow us to use two discount codes at once. I said, "Oh, that's fine; we'll just order separately since there are two of us." She processed the order. I then said, "Oh, what about my free chips and queso?"
"Well, I already bent the rules for you once. I don't know why you are asking me to do it again," she replied (remember, she never told me it was against the rules, just that the register wouldn't ring it up that way).
I said, "Okay, it's nothing against you or store policy, but I ordered this food two weeks ago, and you guys got it wrong. I just want my correct order and to use these coupons."
She angrily processed the order. Her attitude was terrible. This was not the first time I've had bad experiences here, but it is the first time I am leaving a negative review. Avoid this place. They have the absolute worst customer service of any restaurant...

Read moreto all the negative reviews (most of them were from when they first opened) first: this place is brand new, so obviously everyone in owensboro is gonna go there. If you go to a new place, during a rush hour and expect fast service, you're out of your mind. second: the MOBILE ORDER pickup line is NOT a drive thru. it is written on the concrete when you drive back. "MOBILE ORDER PICKUP". if you drive back and wait in line to find out it's not a drive thru, it's not the employess fault, there IS a sign. No, they cannot take your order, for one they most likely aren't even trained on register if they are prepping food and two there probably isn't a cash register right on the prep line. most of the KIDS that work there didn't even get training and if they did it was maybe a couple days. and for a lot of them its probably also their first job. no need to start calling them names and yell at them, they are probably already stressed enough with the 10 orders all due to pick up at the same time and angry customers waiting for an order they placed at 12 and expected to pick it up at 12:05. did you guys forget that lunch is a rush hour? mostly for a new reassurance everyone is eager to try? get a grip and go touch some grass. grow up, be patient and use your common since to not go to a brand new restaurant on your 30 min...
