Tonight is my son’s 12 birthday. He asked to go to dinner with our family and 3 friends. Easy enough he chose Mr. B. I was ok with it because we’d only been one other time before. We brought in an ice cream cake and asked if they could put it in the freezer. She said yes and was kind. We were excited to celebrate the birthday.
1st our ticket says we were a party of 8 and we weren’t not. There was 7 on our ticket. I assume this was done so she automatically got the large party tip. Which was her mistake because we always way over tip even if the service isn’t good.
2nd after we were seated she took our drink order. Instead of going to get our drinks she went straight to the next table got their drink order (this was at least 6-8 mins later) and gave them their drinks before we got ours.
3rd We had to stop her and request to place an order for appetizers. Still no drinks. Came back to the table behind us who also had 7 people took their order. They got their drinks first. Then we got ours.
4th: after waiting almost 40 mins we requested that our actual food order be taken. Our appetizers were hot and delicious when they finally came out. Our meal not so much so. 1.5 hours after we sat down our meals finally came. Typically I’d be very understanding since we were a bigger crowd. However everyone who ordered a pizza when they got it was cold. The cheese didn’t even pull it was so cool. They weren’t even that busy. Our order was sitting in the back forgotten about, while our waitress was missing or helping another table. That was clear. I think our lady had 3 tables. My son’s chicken fingers were missing. we waited patiently, didn’t mention it. The lady that finally brought them out was not our waitress was in a terrible mood tossed them down in front of my son.
Our waitress was rarely seen on the floor and if she was she was helping the table behind us. Our table was never cleared of our appetizer plates until I started making a tower. We felt like we were a big inconvenience the entire time we were there. We smiled and carried on to not ruin my son’s night. I found another waitress to ask if we could get the cake that was supposed have been put in the freezer. When she gave it to us it was mostly melted. She didn’t bring any plates or utensils. It was a complete waste of a cake. We had to ask for the ticket as well. We didn’t get anything unless we waited a ridiculous amount of time and have to request it. You would think for $150 order that they would’ve been a little more eager to serve us. We won’t be back. I feel like we wasted our money, and didn’t even get enjoy a birthday cake. But hey the people behind us got their food ate and left before we even received our food…. When we were there at least 8 mins before them. We came in with joy and excitement. Left with frustration and irritability. Still shocked honestly like I said we won’t be back. 9/24/25 Table...
Read moreJust a bad all around experience; normally, one would chalk it up to “a new restaurant working out the kinks”, but B’s has other locations and shouldn’t be struggling with their processes.
First, the food: my companion enjoyed the Stromboli, while I had the Chicken Club. We both “upgraded” our side to Fries (a small handful of frozen crinkle cuts, that were served cold). Worse still, halfway through my Club (an incredibly small breast, a leaf of lettuce, a strip of bacon cut in half, a small slice of cheddar, and the end slice of a tomato) I discovered I was chewing paper. I summoned the Server, who said “that’s the paper that separates the cheese slices” (really?) then shrugged and walked away. However, to her credit, the Manager showed up shortly and said “It happens.” I don’t disagree……the Manager said “I’ll take care of it”, and comped the Club (but not the rest of my “bill”).
The place was packed, with a long line waiting to be seated; after our table was cleared of dishes (there were 7 in our party), it was almost 30 minutes before we were able to pay our bill. The Server was stretched thin, evidently became confused, and had to revisit our table twice to ask/record what everyone had so as to prepare our bills. Meanwhile, it looked like we were lollygagging, keeping the table tied up, enduring the glares of people waiting in line……..
Final thought: we were seated near a golf simulator, and there was a family playing it (with 2 or 3 pre-teen boys); a couple of the kids’ shots were off the toe of the club and missed the “screen” altogether, ricocheting off the wall and bouncing around…..I’ll predict it’s a matter of time before a patron takes an errant golf ball upside the head…….
So, I ate paper, spent 1:45 to eat a couple of sandwiches, and feared I was going to be fussed out or beaned with a golf ball. Not a pleasant experience, however, the building was full - looks like it’s going...
Read moreWell where do I start ?? The food is spot on great. Pizza, sandwiches, appetizers, and liquid refreshments were fantastic. But they have one waitress (older bag of bones) that SHOULD NOT be working as a waitress. The restaraunt gave me a free meal (family of 4) because of the waitresses stupidity. We sat in the booth for over an hour before our idiot waitress figured out that our order had taken too long. She then comes back to the table RETAKES our order then blames the kitchen for the mistake and informs us that management was fully informed of the problem. Well after sitting at table waiting for our order still, it started to really get to me about what happened. I asked some other waitress to get me a manager to my table, which in my opinion should have already been to my table explaining what has happened to our food. Well the manager came over and knew absolutely NOTHING about what had happened. So basically our bag-o-bones waitress lost our order, lied to our faces, and NEVER once took responsibility for what happened. I’m just glad this so called waitress isn’t a nurse, and I seriously hope that Mister B’s has terminated this woman because it just cost them about $100 for her stupid mistake. And just to clarify this restaraunt was NOT busy enough for this to happen (empty tables, parking lot not full, and plenty of staff to cover the customers that were there). In the end - if you want good food, good drinks, and good atmosphere then go here. BUT if you get an older woman as your waitress that calls you baby, sweetheart, or other irritating comments, then run and...
