When thinking about Red Lobster, most of us (or maybe just me), think about it being rather fancy, pricey, and a little out of the norm for regular 'Joes' like us. However, let me introduce to you what a fantastic and affordable restaurant this is. We arrived a few minutes after opening simply because my wife couldn't wait for those biscuits any longer! There were very few patrons (this early) and the parking lot was well taken care of. There were nice plots of shrubs that helped alleviate the presence of a busy road next to it. The building was maintained and clean. The interior was moderately lit, clean, and welcoming. There are a few well framed pictures of the New England type picturesque landscapes and lighthouses. We were seated promptly by the hostess and our waitress followed shortly there after. The table, menus, seats, and floors were all very clean. Our drinks came out with a basket of those insanely delicious cheddar biscuits. Of course, we destroyed them! We placed our order, 'Lobster Lover's Dream,' 'Lobster, Shrimp & Salmon,' a side of fries, and then, we ordered a new dish of 'Crispy Brussels Sprouts.' All of our seafood was cooked perfectly. It was juicy, buttery, crisp, flavorful, and hot! The Brussels sprouts, on the other hand, were sliced in half, deep-fried, and coated with a honey ginger sauce that complimented the nutty and smoky flavor. Simply amazing! Brussels sprouts are usually bitter when boiled or steamed, so the deep-frying technique really put a spin on it. Our waitress was very attentive and catered to us at times, but was not overbearing. Everything about our meal is exactly what you would think about being in the New England area or a coastal area. The amount of food we received was perfectly comparable with the quality presented. The price. Well, the price was still a little high for the 'average Joe' like me, but when you order two of the heartiest meals with four different selections of seafood, then it's well worth it! Read moreI don't think I have ever had food this good. The biscuits were soft and fluffy not dry. I didn't even need to drink after each bite they were so good! And the mozzarella sticks were soo cheesy and came with 2 different dipping sauces.
We ordered the calamari, double lobster plate and the 1lb crab dish. I literally never had lobster that was so moist and the texture wasn't chewy at all. It was somewhat flaky and delicious! There was flavor in every bite. And they brought over 2 different butter dipping sauces. I still don't know if one was for lobster and one for crab but it didn't matter. I even dipped the potato chunks in it. It was the first time I had real crab so that was an experience! I completely butchered how to open it but I was able to get it out. The waiter was nice enough to help guide us. By that time we were already a little tipsy from the tripped drink special they had (best 3 drinks I've ever had btw!)
The waiter was super nice. He showed us what whe could get for a good price and he kept coming back to see what we needed. He helped us figure out how to crack the crab claws and brought us extra utensils.

Read moreLoving the new management here! Karen is getting things done right! She has a pride for her work and restaurant. We have watched her go from an amazing server to management and she has balanced these transitions well! Our food was prepared properly and was delivered on time together which is a major sell point for me. We sit at the bar normally and are treated with the utmost respect by the bar tenders Chris and a Tiffany. As we have become acquainted with most of the servers and staff. I must say they have a great sense of stability and respect with the ranks. Everyone is amazing and a joy to know. I believe our towns red lobster stands tall. I love the new menu items especially the tasting plates. Perfect price for portion and this is a genius move ! I look forward to our next visit! Namaste
For the Executives, I look forward to see what all red lobster has in store for the future of food. I look for real healthy food items with no gmo's or additives. Eliminate microwave ovens so to eliminate radiation in my food. Open book policy for all nutrition and ingredients and where the food is sources from.
