Marble Slab Creamery — Restaurant in Oxford

This place is filthy with dead bugs all over the floor, filthy counters and coolers. The people are okay, not real friendly with customers or each other.

They must have read this review and asked me to reach out because they said managementwasn'taware of the issue. Management is either 100% absent or turning a blind eye to the problem. They said in their message it wasn't up to standards. I told them if their standard was anything different from what you see in this photo, the filthy condition wouldn't exist. I sent them a pithy little email about it with zero response. Turns out, the place is still filthy all these weeks later. The filth is their standard. I told them they are referred to as a "lice cream" shop. They just don't care. You're simply better off buying ice creams from some dorm fridge on campus. Gross.

Been coming here since it opened in Oxford. Always had a great experience. But April 24th, I went in to get some ice cream of course. I was slapped with rude comments about what they were out of because I clearly couldn’t see what they did or didn’t have. They had about 3 flavors on the counter with no label. So I ask for Chocolate like I always do. They didn’t have it and she told me I needed to choose a different flavor and rudely pointed at the empty chocolate container. The slab was broke? Maybe. I have attempted to eat at this location 3 times!! And haven’t been able to. The first time, the slab wasn’t working and the ice cream was melted. And the second and third times they were closed an hour early. What is the point of having your hours listed on your store if you are going to close early. I am done attempting...
