Shadrachs Coffee Oxford — Restaurant in Oxford

Okay. I’m not sure why it took me a year to stop by this place to try some coffee, but today was the day. My most recent visit to Starbucks was rather expensive, so I opted to try out Shadrachs. I was thoroughly impressed. As I walked up to the window to order, I noticed the nice outdoor seating they have. I asked the girl at the window what sugar free syrups they had, and she named off several, unlike their competitors down the street. I told her it was my first time stopping by, and I noticed they had several signature drinks. She asked me if I liked my drink sweet or not so sweet. She suggested to me the Cosmic Carmel. I said YES, I’ll try that. Needless to say they have a new customer for sure. The drink came out hot and fresh and the taste exceeded my expectations. When I look at the speed of service, the friendliness of the staff, and the taste of the drink itself, I’m sold on Shadrachs! Thanks for making my day this morning. If you’re ever in Oxford, try them out. You will not be disappointed at all!!

Made another stop today and tried a chocolate muffin. I asked if they had food, as I always go to the walk up window. They have no food menu advertised at the walk up window. I tried the chocolate muffin. It was big, however it lacked im taste. I guess I expected more from it. It was a plain muffin with chocolate chips in it. My sugar free cosmic caramel latte was delicious as usual. I would suggest adding a food menu for those of us that walk up. Had I not asked, I would have never known that you guys have food.

July 16, 2024- Today I tried the sausage egg and cheese croissant. I asked what they had this morning and he started naming off the food items. I asked could I add the pepper jack cheese to the croissant. He said no, because it comes prepackaged. The croissant 🥐 was nice and hot, but the egg and sausage were cold. I opted to heat it up in the microwave when I got to work. Not so great 1st experience with the breakfast sandwich. Today was my first time having coffee from here. I’ve been so sick for days and haven’t felt like even leaving my house, so when I had to leave today for a few hours I knew I had to have coffee. I was going to go to Dunkin’, but they were wrapped up, then drove across town to find the same at Starbucks, so I decided today would be the day for me to try this place. Let me tell you, it does NOT disappoint!! Incredibly friendly workers, extremely fast service, and a massive serving size for the price I paid, I didn’t think it could get better, until I tried my coffee!! It was literally some of the absolute best coffee I’ve ever experienced!! I’m ashamed it’s taken me four months of living and working in Oxford for me to try them out, but now that I’ve found them they will be my go to...

It's so beautiful outside today and I had a few minutes to pop by and come to this coffee shop I haven't been to yet.

It only has a few tables outside but the workers are SO friendly and the coffee quality is great. The staff member who took my order was polite and also honest about their own coffee preferences so that was neat. Per her suggestion I did half the sweetness level on an iced cinnamon roll coffee and it was spot on for what I wanted.

If I lived in Oxford I'd definitely visit more but when I come to visit my fam I'll be sure to come...
