First of all let me say that I NEVER write reviews unless they are positive ones - but let me just tell you my experience today really set me off. I have never had an issue with this store, the employees are always pleasant and willing to help. First of all, we got there at 11:55 right before they opened and we waited until they unlocked the door - not an issue I don't mind waiting! The lady/manager opening the store unlocked the door and instead of opening it for us walked away. Second of all, from the beginning when I was trying to order a cookie cake she was so RUDE to me and treated me like I was stupid. The whole time she just acted annoyed with me. When I asked her what she would recommend for the color of the writing on the cake she said "Ma'am this is not my cake". But that's not even the kicker here, she asked if I wanted to pay for my order now or when I picked it up. I told her I'll just pay for it now that way I'll have a receipt - she huffed her breath at me and said the credit card machine was down so I couldn't pay. My friend ordered 3 cookies right after me and miraculously she got the credit card machine to work for her. I don't know what the issue with her was today. Maybe she just had a bad day - but nevertheless if you have a PAYING customer who is making a large pick-up order you would think even a LITTLE bit of kindness would've been shown. Read moreWhile purchasing cookies with my debit card, the machine locked up and the restart didn't work either. I then paid in cash only to have the charge show up a few minutes later (while still in the store) from my bank. I asked the person to refund my cash, but she said she couldn't open the register. She said the manager would resolve the issue in the morning. The manager did call me back, but said to wait for my bank to refund the charge. I've waited several days and still no refund. I call the store during business hours and it just rings; then the voice-mail message says there is no more space to leave a message. This needs to get resolved more quickly when it's their error. They don't seem to care much about customers.
