Huddle House — Restaurant in Oxford

When I say these things about this place you can believe it or you cannot believe it this was our experience. We walked in and we didn’t know if we were supposed to Seat ourselves or stay in there and so we literally stood there for a few minutes with nobody say anything to us before we decided to just seat ourselves. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so ignored by another human being in my life. Cats pay more attention to you than these people did! we sit down we have no drinks and nobody offers to get us any drinks for at least five minutes. Finally we get a coffee and tea. We order our food and I am very specific about the onions bring sautéed because they hurt my stomach. They are not sautéed when I get my food. I send it back. They sautée it with significantly less vegetables than the first time. My husband almost had to slurp his drink to get a refill. Tammie our waitress did offer to get me some water and a second cup of coffee. Generaally at this point in a meal we are on a third cup. She also brought us extra napkins. We are completely done eating and have stacked our plates. She tossed onto the table with nary a word to us. The table next to us was cleared but NEVER wiped down even after the girl swept the floor underneath. We decided to just sit there until our ticket was brought. She thumped the paper ticket onto the table and walked away again with no words. Overall this actually deserves negative stars. I wish I had cash that I could have put on the table and walked out...

We used to enjoy Huddle House for a family meal, but tonight was a completely different experience. The waitress did not acknowledge us for 20 minutes (we should have left just from that!) After ordering, we were informed that the upsell sides that we ordered ( baked potatoes, macaroni and cheese) were not available. The food we received was awful. The "steak" I ordered was more like a thin slice of beef. The BLT was soggy with a scoop of diced tomatoes dobbed in the middle. Not long after getting our meal we were told they would be closing in 10 minutes, my youngest child had not even received her chicken tender basket! We waited for her food and asked for a to go plate for it, as she would not have time to eat. Heaven forgbit you ask for a refill of tea! When I went to pay for the meal, I asked my waitress to remove the upsell charges for the 3 loaded baked potatoes and two macaroni and cheese that we ordered ( roughly10.00 in upcharges) and she told me that it was part of the meal.and could not be removed. I could have spent my 87.00 at the grocery store and made a wonderful meal for my family. Ill opt to do just that next time! So disappointed in Huddle House Oxford! Definitely not what...

I took someone with me to Huddle House. "Not using a name," X ordered a wrap. Look at the picture. That stabbed the back of X throat. I called CS and asked them what I should do? ( With the bills) they told me how to handle any expenses. That was on a Sunday. Monday, I took off from work to care for X. DR, RX, rest, and healing. I told the DR'S office how to handle the billing, and they agreed! Huddle House did not honor what they told me! I took Tuesday off and went to a different DR. I paid that bill, and RX. Wensday X physically was getting better, but scared to eat! At this time, I still hadn't heard from the owner, district manager, or corporate. I was upset because they told me that if I wanted to be reimbursed, I NEEDED TO get all the paperwork ( bills, gas receipts, RX. letter from my employer. ect.) And submit it for review. WHAT! They offered me $250 dollars to settle. I never asked for anything other than the money I was out! I stood up for myself and did what they asked me, and told me I could do. I never let it get out. We have not told anyone. UNTILL NOW. True story, any questions ask. I will never eat at Huddle House again! I hope you do the...
