This evening, my family and I had food delivered from our local delivery service, Fetcht. Two of the items ordered were a Patty Melt and a Hamburger Steak. Unlike the Patty Melt description, there was no onion (one of the main parts of a patty melt!), no pepperjack cheese. It was a cold, hard burger patty on untoasted slices of bread with a slice of American cheese, comeback sauce on one side, and the mushrooms I had added. The Hamburger Steak had no gravy, no mashed potatoes. It was another cold, hard hamburger patty with a small amount of mushrooms on it. There was some squash on the side and two untoasted pieces of bread on the side. Since I ordered through Fetcht, I called them and sent them pictures of what we received. I asked for the dishes to be remade. They called the manager of Mugshots and sent the photos. The manager claimed the dishes were made correctly. However, he had Fetcht's driver deliver a small container of mashed potatoes and another of some thin sauce that looks like A-1 (definitely not gravy). If we had been in the restaurant, we would have sent the dishes back, so what they sent can only be construed as an insult. Description on the menu of the Hamburger Steak: Fresh grilled beef patty topped with sautéed mushrooms served with mashed potatoes, gravy, grilled veggies, and toasted sourdough bread. Patty Melt: Melted American & pepper jack cheeses, sautéed onions, Comeback sauce on...
Read moreThis is not my first bad experience with Oxford Mugshot's "to go" service. Every time I do a to go order I walk in to front desk to pick up, and am greeted by two to three Mugshots employees standing around. When I mention a to go order they merely say ok, and stand around some more until another employee rushes up to answer the phone. This employee is clearly stressed and busy. By the time that employee is off the phone I have spent several minutes standing around looking at the other employees who are doing nothing. My order has never been bagged and ready to go by the time I get to Mugshots, and when I open my boxes the food is nearly always smooshed all together. This time my to go box was not closed properly and by the time I got to the car I realized half of the food had fallen out (this was the Mahi plate with shrimp and rice) so not so great to have shrimp and rice at the bottom of the bag. Also, the food was cold.
Mugshots needs to fix the to go order service because it's ridiculous to have so many employees standing around, while one employee is running around stressed and not plating the food correctly or putting them into the...
Read moreVisited Mugshots today with my mom after an appt. It was her 1st time eating there. I've been there several times. When we initially arrived, off top there was no greeting. The hostess walked off to the back then came back to the front to seat us. While taking a seat I noticed that it was something sticky on the seats that got all over the back of my pants. My mom therefore asked the waitress (who was extremely nice by the way) if we could have something to wipe the seat off. About 3 minutes the hostess came over to the table and just stood there. My mom told her that it was something sticky on the chair. She looked, rolled her ears, then proceeded to spray whatever cleaning solution it was in the bottle getting it on my arms and pants. She never said excuse me or anything. She just whipped the chair aggressively, huffed and walked away. She had the worst attitude I had ever encountered at a mugshots. If you're not friendly and manurable please don't get jobs as hostess. Other than that our experience was good. We had a great waitress and the food...
