Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Oxford

I will not be going back to this place unless they advertise that it's under new management. The service is world class awful, and i have years of restaurant experience. We sat in the bar area at a high top table at around 3pm, a time notorious for being slow in a restaurant. Our server lacked experience but was sweet, and she had us in the back of the restaurant near the bar and some tables all the way at the front of the house. Waited forever for drinks? Yes. Waited forever for food? Yes. All the while, the bartenders head was buried in her phone. She had no tables, was not even doing side duties, and could have easily helped out her fellow mate. Would have called the manager over, but don't worry, the manager was sitting right next to her, preoccupied with her own phone. So we said nothing, even though I thought my head would blow off of my shoulders. The food was ok, no problems there, but for a town that has james beard award winning chefs, you can do so much better. They could of easily made more money off of us, because we like to stick around if the atmosphere is good. The only timely service we received was when we asked for our check, which was hilarious, almost like we were a hindrance. **P.S. this is not the first experience like this that i have had here. I don't normally leave reviews but at this point i feel like i would be doing a disservice if i did not let people know about this place. If the service is this bad when its slow, i can only imagine how awful it is when they are...

This location seriously needs new management and bartenders. Our experience yesterday was beyond awful. Our poor server was sweet and I think she tried, but she had absolutely no help from her coworkers or management. It took what seemed like 10 minutes for us to get our first beers. I only got them when I was able to get the bartender's attention--she had her head buried in her phone. We sat at a high top table in the bar. Our server obviously had other tables in the front of the restaurant and was unable to wait on us effectively. The bartender had exactly zero customers and should have helped our server monitor the bar. Thankfully, our table was close enough to the bar that I could get the bartender's attention away from her phone to once again ask for a round of beers after realizing that our server was not coming back anytime soon. We didn't get menus until my fiance got up and took one from the bar...the bartender never looked up. Our food was just ok. The worst part of the whole experience was that the manager was completely oblivious to what was happening RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER because she too was at the end of the bar with her head buried in her phone. We had to practically beg to be waited on. I was a server for many years, and I completely understand what it's like to be busy. But, there is no excuse for the way we were served yesterday. I would be more satisfied if I had flushed my $50...

Went there on Friday night with my wife. Once we were seated, we had to wait about 5 minutes to get a waitress to come by, and then we had to wait another 5 minutes to get our drinks. We immediately ordered. The couple in front of us ordered at the same time. We waited around and noticed the couple in front of us get their food, eat, pay and leave. Table got cleaned, new customers came in, ordered and received their food and were eating when our food finally showed up.

The order had fries instead of the onion rings that were ordered, so they took that part back. My wife bit into the chicken sandwich and immediately asked me to try it saying it tasted "weird." I tried a slice off the edge and immediately noticed that it was still frozen (even had ice crystals inside). My wife is pregnant, so eating raw frozen chicken is an absolute NO! My wife at this point had had enough, and she didn't want to eat anymore, so I ate about half my burger (onion rings dripped with grease to the point I couldn't eat and top patty had tomatoes on it which I'm allergic to and had to scrape off and remove patty).

Compensation for the raw chicken sandwich of which my wife took a bite and spit back out was that they removed that from the ticket. That's not nearly enough in my opinion, especially given the over 50 minute wait to receive food. Anyways, I'd give 0 stars if I could. ...
