4 years later it’s twice as bad as it used to be . Guys cooking in the back are too worried about looking cool rather than doing their job. Just drop the chicken and lose the attitude and you might actually get some business!!!
You might as well pack a lunch if you want to come and get food from here because it's going to take you no less than 20 minutes if you go in the store and everyone just stands around and looks at each other like nobody knows what the hell's going on. I never use the drive-thru because the lines always wrapped around the building.
☝️ That review was pre-pandemic. Ever since they shut the store down it's worse than ever trying to get food from this store. I get requests for ubereats pickups about 5 to 6 times a week and I always refuse them because the last time I went I was literally waiting in the Drive-Thru for 47 minutes before I received the order. They refuse to answer the phone or let you call in so they can bring the order outside to you allowing you to move on with your delivery. There are at least a dozen other places in town that have long lines in the Drive-Thru and they bring the food out to our vehicles so we can make our deliveries. Whenever you do finally make it to the speaker to check in they act like you're inconveniencing them and always welcome you with an attitude. Then you still have to wait another 10 minutes to get to the window and they don't even have the order ready! I had to wait another 8 minutes for the rude heifer to bag the damn order!! Honestly, how many clowns does it take to put a piece of chicken in a bag!?
Aside from that there's no sign stating that they close at 6:00 p.m. and there are people standing inside with 15 cars in the Drive-Thru and they just act like they're not even there and won't answer the speaker to let you know that they're closed. How much does it really take to put a sign outside letting somebody know that you close at 6:00!?
Whoever is running this store needs a serious come to Jesus meeting on how to run a business because they are the ones allowing their crew to work this way!! I will never pick up another Uber eats order from here or order anything personally ever again.
The Krispy Krunchy Chicken at the gas station on Lamar actually has better chicken anyways it's always fresh and you'll be in and out within less than 5 minutes and their...
Read moreYesterday, I went super early by comparison (4:45pm) to avoid having the same result. The line wasn't very long this time, but it was moving very slowly. Once I finally got to to the speaker box to order (after 35 mins), I waited another 10 mins before another driver pulled up next to me, and wanted to know what was taking so long. I asked her to look ahead at the window, and she said no cars were there. Then she drove up and saw that NOBODY was in the store. It was CLOSED! No signs, no cones in the Drive Thru, no indication that the store was closed. And because there is no dining in... You can't tell from the outside, without looking all the way through to the counter. Also, because this store closed a while back (temporarily) due to a Covid outbreak, I checked here on Google to make sure it was open. It said it was. New management is obviously an immediate necessity.
Thanks for letting me rant! I...
Read moreWith all the hype about that sandwich they can't get their customer service right. I love Popeyes but absolutely hate the way they do business. Went to this Popeyes at 830 on a Sunday night and was told they were out of tenders and the infamous sandwich. Then in the next breath I was told they were pretty much out of everything. I waited in a 30 min line to be told they were out of everything. Why let people sit in line when you might as well cut the lights off. These are the workers that want 15$hr but too lazy to throw some chicken in the fryer to serve all the people in line. On top of it the chicken head that was on the intercom side eyed me all the way out the parking lot. Get your stuff together and you could be on top of the fried chicken market Popeyes. Better service is all you need. The...
