Sharky's Woodfired Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Oxnard

It is the first time I’ve visited this branch of Sharky’s Woodfired Mexican. It’s comforting to see that it’s maintaining a consistency among their branches. While I usually order the salmon burrito, I decided to try a new one. I ordered the power bowl. It is quite good and filling, but not heavy. An excellent choice if one is on a diet. The one complaint is the fact that they don’t have the sangria at this branch. I asked the cashier, and she looked through the fridge, which clues me to the fact that she’s never heard of it. Good service, good food, only problem is the prices are a bit too much. This place looks like a good up to date Mexican food joint but the actual food in there is definitely overpriced and underwhelming. I'll never forget the time I asked for a simple carne asada burrito and when I actual took a bite, it was more of bean and rice burrito with little to no meat at all. Food is always so yummy there my go to is the bbq chicken salad so glad they brought it back. When in and was pretty empty for a Saturday early afternoon. Just the ladies working there don't seem be in the best mood I asked for extra dressing and the employee took at least 10 mins to bring it not sure if she didn't know what dressing I was speaking of but not sure why it would that long to bring me the dressing for the salad.
