I Won't Return: As a business traveler, I like to occasionaly get teppanyaki for the steak/shrimp....I don't go for the "Show". I should have followed my instincts on this place and left after finding it 3/4 empty when I walked in....but I mistakenly stayed.... Again, I should have left when they sat me at a grill with no other diners... So there I was, getting a personal meal/show... The Show....standard for these places, and like I said....not why I was there... The Dinner...UGH!....as he dumped the bowl of rice in the grill, corn/peas/carrots/green beans/lima beans . Clearly they had spooned out a small portion from a bag of frozen vegatables. he then dumped an overdose of salt/soy sauce and sesame seeds. I ordered the Filet Mignon medium.....it was overcooked (well done) and underseasoned.... The Shrimp...Overcooked (rubbery) and overseasoned (salty). Veggies: probably the only thing worth eating.... In all the Teppan places I have eaten over the years, I have never left any of the my protien on the plate.... I left half of each on the plate here... I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt, and say that maybe they just had a bad night....but in my experience, the # of guests in a restaurant is a clear indicator... This place was almost empty when I walked in, and I was the last diner to enter even though they still had 2 more hours left . In my opinion, this is a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe came here and the service was Meh at best. We had a reservation for a certain time and were not seated till 20 minutes after, but otherwise the immediate service was good! We did have to remind the waitress that we ordered Sake with our beer but eh not too bad. Soup and salad came out and it was good. Finally our chef showed up and to be quick, he was one of the most boring teppanyaki chefs we've had. His food was alright, but the show was sub par compared to other places within the area. After our first round of drinks, we had to wait around 10 minutes to get another server for refills and to take plates away that were crowding the area. Once we had drinks again, overall it was just a quiet, delicious show. I would absolutely recommend the Filet and Scallops here, as they were delicious. Unfortunately the fried rice was probably the worst we've had from teppanyaki. Not horrible tasting, but not the best by a long shot. Finally the end of service came and along with our meals description was ice cream. Yet, no ice cream was delivered or offered, just a bill and a thank you good night. Overall, I'd choose any other teppanyaki place, but if this were the last, I'd still visit...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe service here was 10/10. I ordered the filet mignon, medium well but it was a lot more done that that. Eating the meat was work because it was pretty chewy and had a lot of connective tissue. Made me think it was a cheap cut or not fresh and thatās why they cooked it so much. When the raw meat was in front of me, I could see a lot of connective tissue/fat. The team was really nice and remade another bit of steak a little more rare, but same issues with connective tissue and it still didnāt taste medium well. It tasted well done, but a teeny bit softer. I also ordered Cabernet and it came in a very small glass that was filled to the brim instead of a larger glass to allow the wine to oxygenate and to bring out the nose of the wine. The salad is now pretty much all iceberg with a watered down dressing. The fried rice is no longer made fresh in front of you and tasted like dry old rice with soy sauce and canned veggies. I used to really love this place prior to COVID when they had a top tier cooking show and...
