I visited to get a coffee and a pastry as I have done many times. I ordered the coffee and while I was paying the cashier told me most people leave a tip. I always tip for service but seems odd she would tell me to tip. No problem I added 15 percent as thatâs the button on the keyboard. I received my coffee and it was cold. I returned to the counter and let the server know it was cold coffee. The sever put her finger under the coffee pot to check if it was cold . She then turned and added what looked like steam milk. I ask her if that was steam milk? I didnât want hot milk. I just wanted a hot coffee. She handed me the coffee and said no itâs coffee. Extremely rude and didnât even apologize or offer a fresh coffee. I told her I didnât that same coffee. She ignored me after I ask her 2 times . I then asked for the manager. The manager ask what the problem was. I told her and she offered to make a fresh batch but it would take 25 minutes. I told her fine as I just wanted a fresh hot coffee. Then she asked if I wanted a americano ? I replied yes thatâs fine . I ask her why wouldnât the other person ask me that instead of giving me that same coffee. She never even apologized for anything. She gave me the coffee and I said thank you. I told her the other person needed training to help the customer. I ask for her name she told me her first name . I ask for her business card but she didnât have one . The persons name was Tony Nickens . She then gave me a 25 dollar certificate. I didnât even want the certificate! I just wanted a hot coffee.    Read moreAll I can say is check your receipt. We ordered one scoop with one topping and, after we sat down, I noticed that my wife had paid for two scoops and two toppings. When I returned to the counter to dispute this the employee who had originally taken our money, rolled her eyes and walked away. The other employee also went to the back for a minute, and, when she finally came back, she asked, âdo you want them to come out and refund you or would you like a pastry?â
Iâm not one to bow down, but I also didnât want to spend a lot of time having âthemâ come back and go through all the time and trouble of processing this refund so I opted for a crĂšme brĂ»lĂ©e. It took them almost 10 minutes to bring me the crĂšme brĂ»lĂ©e⊠and it wasnât even warmâŠso I guess maybe I shouldâve just gone for the refund!!?
My 9-year old said, they shouldâve refunded you AND givEN you a free crĂšme brĂ»lĂ©e so you wouldnât give them a low rating!â đ€Ș
Oh and the dirty tables. All of them. We tried to at least cover up the mess someone else left. This is at the MGM, so it really makes no sense. Iâm sitting here seeing multiple people cleaning stuff all over the lobby area near the cafe. But this place is a mess...
   Read moreReally disappointed with my visit. They first handed me my order in a box with the top completely smashed. When I asked them to replace it, the lady gave me a look like I was being difficult. They brought out another one in a closed box, and I left.
There werenât any clean tables there, so I sat on one of the benches near there. But when I opened the box, the pastry looked nothing like the displayâmissing the dried raspberry pieces, gold flakes, and with messy cream. And unsurprisingly, it didnât even taste good.
Even though I tried to just let it go, I felt like I had to say something...otherwise Iâd feel stupid for not speaking up. On my way out, I brought it up, and at first they denied it and kept saying they're all the same...until I showed them a picture. Then they said the ones they actually serve are kept in the back and are not necessarily the same as the ones in display.. That feels really like a scam, misleading and itâs pretty shameful that they said...
