Shake Shack National Harbor — Restaurant in Oxon Hill

I don’t know if they changed their staff or not since Christmas, but I went here on Christmas Day yet I still remember vividly how the workers treated the customers. The workers were extremely rude. I don’t know her name but the light skin girl with the long nails that worked the cash register rolled her eyes and slammed her hands on the counter when someone didn’t know what they wanted. The other cashier did the same thing. When there was an online order through an app, it was just one milkshake and the workers were judging that order out loud for all the customers to hear. Also, there was this man that was putting the condiments in cups and he got mad and gave so many dirty looks whenever someone got one. It was honestly a terrible experience overall because of how rude the workers were. It was on Christmas and it is well past that now, but I needed to share this experience since I just found out you can review restaurants on google. It was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at any fast food chain restaurant ever. Mcdonalds, Burger King, Taco Bell, or probably any other fast food chain has better service than them. I have no motivation to lie or slander their business for no reason by any means. This place has the worst staff. This was supposed to be open for twenty minutes. 5-7 minutes of standing in line a staff member told me I had to leave because they were closed. The couple in front of me arrived at the same time I did. Maybe it was the way I looked or something along that line. That's how it felt to me. This was one of two horrible experiences I had that visit. The other was at the Tap Room. I did make a friend that night. A tiny Asian granny. Those big heavy glass MGM entrance doors are extremely heavy. Especially for a tiny very granny lady. So of course I opened both doors for her. She was very appreciative and stated asking me about what I was going to play. We talked for a second then another older lady asked me if I could go ask the Metro disability bus driver if he was there for Miss Jackson. I let her know that he said no. The poor lady had been there who knows how long. Would have been nice for someone from the casino or something would have assisted her further. It was very late and dark out. We frequent this location because we visit the casino a lot, but we had a terrible experience during a recent visit on 1/21. They had the spicy chicken sandwich with bacon on the menu so our party of 4 wanted to try it. Before I ordered, I apologized to the server for the slight modifications on the order. My order: 2 spicy chicken sandwiches with no bacon, 1 spicy chicken sandwich with no cheese, and 1 spicy chicken sandwich as-is. We went back and forth because the server just couldn’t understand my order. I even repeated the order, one sandwich at a time, and the server kept getting annoyed. She called someone else and said “Can you help her? I can’t deal with her anymore” loud enough for me and everyone else to hear. Another server took over and was able to help within less than 30 seconds. $72 for 4 sandwiches, 1 beer and 1 soda is not cheap for a fast food - they’ve got to spend some time and money in training their employees to treat customers right.
