Michael's New York Style Pizza — Restaurant in Paducah

Got 2 Pizzas( Pepperoni and Mushroom...and a sausage Peppahh(accent)...good pies...tasty ...cooked just right..I'm an East Coast guy from Boston....met Michae(owner)l, good guy from Brooklyn....also he called me as I was having trouble finding his pizza place with my pickup order...a nice courtesy call...love East guy attitudes. Anyway....he was wearing a Yankees hat...I commented on it...we could of gotten into it...I hate Yankees...but he seemed cool ..so I let it slide( this time Michael)....also.. girl at hotel front desk saw Michaels pizza box as I was coming back to room and said it was her favorite place ...she told me she loves his subs....I said do they have Italian sub with "the hots"....she said YEP! I'll be back for a Italian submarine with hots and no onions...thanks bud...

I usually love this place, but after tonight I'm done. I ordered wings, among other things... I had it delivered. When I opened them up, they were tiny. They had no meat on them at all and they were all smaller than my pinky, and I have small fingers. I asked if they could switch them out, or if I could get my money back .I ordered these same wings three days ago and they were double this size. They told me if I wanted my money back then I'd have to bring them up there. I got them delivered because I don't have a vehicle. Before I could get another word in they hung up. They were rude as hell. They lost a loyal costumer tonight. I took pics too. Will post them as soon as I find out how. Take a normal size house key in your hand and they were as small as that. And hardly no meat on them at all .they should have...

Michael's Pizza is a true gem. An authentic New York Style Pizza joint, right here in Western Kentucky. The place itself has a cool, genuine pizza shop vibe, and the people that run it contribute to that vibe. You can expect to hear a friendly yankee-style "Hey, hi-ya doin' neh buddy" as you walk through the door, and I love the idea of supporting a local pizza joint, just trying to make a living like the rest of us, instead of some pizza chain you can get anywhere. There's something about their pizza that keeps me coming back. Being New York Style Pizza, it's pretty thin pizza, so there's nothing crazy special about it, but it's still good enough to somehow get me to eat more than I do from any other pizza place. There's something about that classic, minimalist pizza...
