LongHorn Steakhouse — Restaurant in Paducah

We walked in and nobody was at the door. I said excuse me to the bartender(whom was having a loud conversation with a guest about a surgery. Mind you we’re at the door hearing this conversation.) to ask if we had to seat ourselves because we had been standing and helped 2 women out the doer by this time a man and woman was walking out as well. The reason I asked if we had to seat ourselves. The black bartender then responds loud and micro aggressive Huh what! Naw. I said do you all have a hostess? She said Yes, nastily and my party asked what was it that she said and I repeated it. We walked away talking about it and we let it go. I saw a white lady ( she was the couple that was sitting in the bar area by the door) get up and say something to the bartender. We sat down had looking over the menu waiting for our server and I just happened to look up and I hear the bartender say (now a manager is there in a blue shirt) that I was still looking at her (aggressively and loud). (Which was a lie) the manager comes over to us as the server is asking what we would like to drink and he stands on my right side and said he was told that I had an issue. My uncle stands up to talk to him (he is hard of hearing so he naturally talks loud. -War vet) and he is telling him we didn’t have an issue. My uncle was asking why was he coming telling us that he was told he were being rude to his server. (Which was a lie) We would never go out and be rude nor show out. I was unable to give my account as to what happened. My brother then said I tell you what we can just take our business elsewhere since the manager didn’t ask if everything was ok. He came being accusatory. I wasn’t thinking about it. I don’t come to Kentucky much, but I will never come back. The family I have here I will tell them not to patronize this establishment. Because the situation wasn’t handled appropriately.

We left and went to Logan’s and they had a hostess at the door. We walked in and they spoke. I get it people become busy, but the bartender looked our way and never spoke nor said someone will be with you. She stayed talking about tingling in the arms and hands and surgery on someone’s spine that’s how loud she was. I also thought she was being rude to the lady that was sitting by the door and was wondering why is she loud talking the lady and the lady had to get up for her to hear what she was saying. Only later to find out she was talking about me. Oh wow!! I was at a loss for words because we had let it go. But now- I will give a review everywhere for...

We ate dinner here tonight . He had steak , sweet potato , macaroni and cheese , and a lobster tail. I ordered the red rock shrimp , rice and french fries (since they were out of baked potatoes ) and then we had a kids chicken dinner. After we ordered … it took 40 minutes for us to get our food .. when we finally received our food ALL of it was cold because it had clearly sat waiting to be picked up by OUR waitress who had disappeared for 20 minutes! She was nowhere in the restaurant that we could see. All of our food was cold ( except the baked sweet potatoe) they were out of regular baked potatoes there was no butter for the lobster tail , or for my shrimp . she finally came by and said she would have to go warm up the butter ..: It took her 20 minutes to do that …. but by then we were finished eating our cold food . We were hesitant to send it back for them to warm it up because we didn’t know when they would get the food back out to us and we already waited 40 minutes to get the food to start with….. I took my grandson to the bathroom and when I came back , my plate of food was gone! I had four shrimp left , most of my rice and all of my french fries….. she took my plate and did not ask ..? she just took it….

We saw her once after she brought us the butter…. 20 minutes too late … she filled our tea and we didn’t see her again until she came by and took my food while I was in the bathroom. She did not ask him if I was finished ..

I do not remember her name .. (I want to say something like Kiki but it should be fairly easy figure out who she is because she has green hair ….)

Needless to say , It was the worst meal I’ve ever had … and he has already said that we will not be going back to Longhorn. It is entirely too expensive to pay for cold food and horrible service .,, and then I did not even get to finish my food! Her tip reflected her poor service …

and the fact that clearly our food was left sitting too long before she picked it up , Because she disappeared) and then she took the rest of my meal before I was finished ! serving someone cold food is entirely unacceptable, and definitely not the dining experience that I expected to have at Longhorn.

I actually do not give them ANY STARS whatsoever …

but it would not let me post my review without at least one star …. they didn’t even come close to getting one star….. they couldn’t see one star from...

We are visiting from out of town and three of us had a great lunch, so my husband wanted a steak our last night. We called ahead for 10 people and were told they don't do call ahead. We got there at 5:50 and we're told 30 minutes. After 45 I asked if we had an update. We watched people come in way after us and eat and leave. Other patrons asked us how long we had been there and when we said, they were shocked and told us to find a manager. We declined and kept waiting. We were told they were waiting for two tables to open that were next to eachother. We watched several 5-6 tops leave but were replaced quickly with 2-4 tops. After another 20 minutes I again asked if we were close. And we were fine with leaving if they couldn't accommodate, they just had to tell us. We were assured it would only take a few more minutes. The bathroom was out of soap, the toilet was full and wouldnt flush, water all over the floor, and garbage was full. After an hour and a half we were finally sat down. We were informed they were out of soda, lemonade, salad, and a few appetizers. Shrimp was under cooked, steaks were over cooked, pretty sure the rice pilaf was bagged and microwaved. We didnt bother sending back food because we never would have eaten and kids were starving. After 3 hours we finally left. Staff was nice, waiter apologized over and over for how long we had to wait, but nothing was ever offered for the waiting we had just been through or the shortage of food. Super disappointed and wish we could have gotten a to go pizza so we could spend our last night with family and...
