I don't know what is going on here now, but it was bad... really bad. It wasn't busy, because it was well after the lunch rush. There were no workers outside taking orders, which is really odd for Chick-fil-A. Then I found out that it's often not staffed properly anymore. Ok...so, I think maybe they are extremely shorthanded. No biggie, right? WRONG!!! (Once we got to the window we realized that there were quite a lot of workers inside.) The man taking our order either needed hearing aides, or didn't need to be taking orders. I had to repeat our very simple order so many times that I lost count. We had zero hopes that our order would be correct. Get almost to the window, and a young lady comes out to ask us what our order is. Then she repeats it back incorrectly and tells me I didn't order my food correctly. ??!! I've ordered it exactly the same way for YEARS with no problem from any Chick-fil-A, including this one...EVER. Now, we're actually past irritated and are getting angry. The MANAGER walks by and tells her to let us go to the window. Turns out he's the one who's doing such a horrible job taking orders! What the heck?!! Then we pull up to the window and a very nice young man greets us. I tell him we are concerned that our order isn't remotely right because of the bizarre way our order has gone so far. He asks me exactly what we ordered. He checks. It absolutely incorrect. He tells the kitchen the correct order, apologizes for the way things have gone, and assures me it will be correct when we get it. Y'all...it was one Chick-fil-A Deluxe Crispy Chicken Sandwich with American cheese & no tomatoes and one Chick-fil-A Deluxe Crispy Chicken Sandwich with no cheese & no pickles, and some Chick-fil-A sauce...just the 2 sandwiches. That's it! If it hadn't been for that young man at the window, I would have left and gotten food elsewhere. As it was, the order process was so bad, that we didn't dare order more than we did. We ended up going elsewhere to get the rest of the food we needed. What has happened to this location?!! It's really giving...
Read moreWe haven't eaten much fast food in years. Due to finding out our entire family is gluten intolerant. I recently discovered chick-fil-a has GF buns that are provided in a sealed plastic bag. And that the fries have their own dedicated fryers, so they aren't cross contaminated with fried food. I don't know if there were new people being trained, but the 2 girls at the counter seemed to have some trouble with orders. It was around 8 pm on a Friday night, and a lady had ordered, then it was my turn, then a group of 4 people behind me and another 2 behind them. For some reason they only had one register open. Whatever, not a big deal to me, we ordered and sat down to wait. We were brought the wrong food at first, it was someone else's order. That was corrected and we had our food shortly after. I was disappointed that the GF bread was in a baggy. And in no way warmed up. The bread itself was quite dry. We used sauce go help with that. In retrospect, the fries could have used a little more salt. But we were just so happy to be enjoying a meal out. Now the only thing really negative we saw. Was as it was approaching 9 pm, which is closing time, I told my girls to hurry up, that it sounded like they were getting ready to shut down for the night. 2 small groups of people walked in right after I said that, and the (assumed) manager, while looking towards the patrons, rolled her eyes and you could see a physical annoyance. I get being tired and wanting to go home, but especially at a chick-fil-a. Do you think Jesus rolled is eyes, at all the people who...
Read moreMy first time visiting them here. 3rd time ever. When I drive up the girl taking the order was rude and very dry. Not at all what I've heard about the happy staff they have. The Two others outside the window were pleasant though..First of all I'm not a fan and I think they are overrated. I went because my niece wanted the waffle fries. I have to say they are delicious...But sparse.. I got her chicken nuggets to go with them. She ate one. She didn't like them at all. They are still in the fridge in a zip lock bag. (She'll eat them eventually because I paid for them)If she will eat Burger King zebra meat, old grease cooked in nuggets she should like ANY nuggets... or So I thought. I also got the tea mixed with lemonade. Definitely an acquired taste. It was so sour and just not good at all. I added some sugar in the raw to it and made it all better. I wasn't going to get me anything but decided to ask if they had gluten free chicken sandwiches. They sent a bun out in a plastic wrapper, a piece of greasy chicken breast in foil wrapped paper pouch. I didn't know I had to put it together! smh No sauce or pickles for it. Just meat and bread that I had to put together. Overall not happy with food or service but I will go back for the waffle...
