El Toro Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Palestine

I ordered the Medio polo Dorado. (For pick up). The menu i looked at on google the price was $16.39.plus a $2.00 up charge because it was a lunch item i had ordered as a dinner item. So the price $18.39 plus tax. When she brought me my food tlod the price of $22.and some change. Explained that not right total. She went inside came out with a menu and wanted to show me i said no what you need to do is honor the $16.39. she said are you sure you dont want me to show you again i said no. A manager came out and ask me to show him where that the menu i had ordered from. Showed him he said oh thats just pictures of the menu that customers take thats gor reviews. Thats what goole is. I said no it says right here El Toro restaurant click on menu this is what i ordered from. He stated thats not the El Toro web site you order from here not google. I said how am i suppose to know that. He said i will go ahead and honor that price can you show me again. I showed him $16.39. Then he says well she told you you said $13.39. I told him no i did not i told her $16.39 plus $2.00. He said we'll horor this time. Came out with my food.Price of $20.71. He said i gave you $1.50 off. Get home with food. It was terrible. It was like a store bought T.V. dinner. I soent a good 20 minutes there about the price just to get home and it wasnt worth a penny. To this young manger if those were pictures that were taken by customers thats mot my problem.That would be an issue of El Toro restaurant. Its not ok to be argumentive with a customer to prove your point. Its called the honor system. You honor the price that you were shown. Other was its called false advertisement. So the right and best thing to do is remove the old menus and replace them with current ones. People order from places all the time on goolge. Its no different. And gor you to tell me oh those are customer pictures is ridiculous. If your going to be in a management position get more training in customer service and the issues you may come up against. The food has really gone down hill. Wont be back. Youve lost a loyal monthly customer of the Talapia Santiago. Thought i would try something new. It was awful. But the customer sevice was...

I’ve usually love El Toro but last night was a disappointment I always get the taco salad it’s always been delicious now for whatever reason they are more worried about presentation than the quality of their product when I ordered my my waitress asked me did I want ranch for my taco salad and I said ranch for a taco salad that’s crazy so I asked for a manager the manager came over very rude by the way and said that they changed it because it’s more photogenic I don’t come to a restaurant to look at pictures I come to a restaurant you I spend a lot of money in there usually I have 21 people with me when I come there you guys get $500 at one time So last night my mother my friend and I had dinner $51 for three extra large tacos because that’s exactly what that is very disappointing also there is little to no cheese little to no beans a little bit of meat and jalapeños which I did not ask for I am not happy with it at all I would prefer if someone can give me a contact so today you get no stars if I can help it but I guess you have to have one...

We had a huge group of people enjoy dinner here around 6:00 on 9/26. We had made reservations beforehand, so we were immediately seated upon arrival. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming, and extremely attentive. And we constantly needed refills of everything, and they never missed a beat. Wonderful service! The chips and salsas were fantastic, and they even had options to spice it up and try other flavors as well. And all of them were so good. The chips were especially fresh and crispy without being oily or too salty. The margaritas are also phenomenal. They are not just poured out of a premixed bottle, they are made with love, and you can taste it! For my entree, I ordered the “pollo bravo” which was bacon wrapped chicken stuffed with jalapeños. The chicken was juicy, the jalapeños gave it the perfect kick, and the bacon gave it the hints of smoke and saltiness that made me keep coming back for more.
