Johnny's Pizzeria & Ristorante — Restaurant in Palisades Park

My husband ordered shrimp parmigiana, meatball pasta, with a 2-little bottle of ginger ale & appetizers. When the delivery came, we found the soda was missing so we called the driver. Meanwhile, we opened the food. The spaghetti looked dried, with too little sauce (meatball had no sauce at all). The buffalo wings looked burned (and was extremely salted). The only saving grace was the french fries. They were pretty large and crispy. BUT WE WERE MISSING THE SHRIMP PARMIGIANA. Instead, we got what looked like eggplant parmigiana (or chicken?). I am posting the pictures: the shrimp parmigiana (that's on their website) vs. the plate I got. I think it's quite obvious something's wrong here.

I showed this plate to the driver (who brought us a sprite instead, since he had no ginger ale). He told us he was only the delivery person. So we called ktown2go to complain about the mishap. We asked that, at least, we would like a refund of the shrimp parmigiana, and we emailed him the 2 pictures. ktow2go called us back with apologies, telling us that Johnny's pizzeria is unwilling to refund us for their obvious error.

I don't know about you. But to me, this pizzeria did not understand that this is not about the money. This is about a service that I paid which they didn't deliver and yet, they are unwilling to acknowledge this. This is about who they are.

Surely they made this Mother's Day quite memorable for me, although all for the wrong reasons. I will remember never to order from...

Sundays usually call for Pizza night. I had family over so I ordered from Johnny’s. My friend had ordered from here and she said they never disappoint. For starters we ordered 4 pies well done— not burnt, and let me tell you, that pizza was PERFECT. The garlic knots were delectable. Perfect pillowy crunch with garlic buttery goodness in each bite. The children absolutely adored the mozzarella sticks. It’s quite obvious that they make everything from scratch at this pizzeria. I was astounded at how fresh the mussels with linguine was—it’s almost as if I was at Carbone’s in the city. Absolutely delicious. The gentleman on the phone was extremely helpful while ordering and when I went to pick my food up, I was greeted with such a warm welcome. Truly a staple establishment. Ordered from here twice. My order was correct each time and the food was on time and packaged nicely. The calamari was good, large pieces and pretty good sauce to go with it. I ordered a meatball parmigiana hero and it was lackluster as the meatballs were small hard to find in the sub. Id say about half the bites I took didn’t have any meat in them. Second time I ordered I got a pizza and it was honestly not good. The crust was paper thin, floppy and soggy (mind you I ordered “regular” as opposed to “thin”) .
