Forgot to take pictures, sorry! First, we ordered a large meal for the entire house last night, plus some extra for the next day. 2 quarts wonton soup, fried dumplings, crab rangoon, 4 egg rolls, 1 large General Tso's, one large Orange Chicken and sweet and sour chicken. Included were one large rice and a smaller portion. The gentleman that took our order was extremely polite, and the pricing was pretty much standard with other Chinese restaurants we've ordered from. We asked if they delivered, and they said they did. We were told our delivery would be roughly 45 minutes, and, surprisingly, it showed up at 20 minutes after the phone call.
A lady wearing a mask delivered and she was super careful and respectful of space. We left a 15 tip, and it broke our hearts that she seemed extremely grateful of the fact we not only ordered but left a tip, too.
The crab rangoon was stuffed to the gills with cheese, the dumplings were tasty and so too was the dipping sauce they came with. The chicken for the sweet and sour was crispy and well done, the batter good. The orange chicken was literally the most orange-flavored orangey chicken I can remember having and it turned out super tasty. My husband enjoyed his General Tso's. Of course, the Tso's and Orange Chicken by the time they were delivered wasn't crispy but we knew that going in the way the containers are sealed, plus steam, plus time to deliver would do that and it in NO WAY affected the flavor. The chicken pieces used were all tender and flavorful, dark meat and light. The ONLY thing that wasn't stellar were the egg rolls--and you know what? They cost us about a dollar. We really didn't mind. I recommend trying this if you enjoy American Chinese, or Chinese food. Everything was tasty and promptly delivered. Will get take out from these guys again! EDIT: 2022 and we still order from here. Recently, we've ordered at least once a month the last six months and it is CONSISTANTLY the best American Chinese food we get. We order through GrubHub, but it arrives within 20-30 minutes. Love the sweet and sour chicken, orange chicken (actually spicy and...
Read moreMy husband and I ordered 2 of the Hawaii 5'o. It's advertised with the wording underneath as the 2 first items in the food being "shrimp and scallops" then it reads beef, chicken and vegetables. When I got home I had 1 shrimp and 1 scallop. I called to get told that there were only supposed to be 2 shrimp and 2 scallops which were not jumbo as advertised. I was disappointed with that but I explained that I only received one of each The woman I was put on the phone with who was yelling in the background prior to getting on the phone proceeded to make me sound like a liar as she says that the chef counts them specifically before putting them in the meal. I explained that we're all human and we make mistakes but that I am not lying to her when I tell her that there was only one of each in my meal. She raised her voice at me continuing to tell me that I'm wrong and that they were counted. I couldn't believe The way I was treated. The rest of the food is very tasty but I won't be returning because when I want jumbo shrimp scallops and I'm willing to pay for it, I get my damn shrimp and scallops! They were, however, very generous with the broccoli and especially the water chestnuts which look like scallops till you take your fork to it in...
Read moreOnce again, another Chinese food place I have tried here in Palm Bay. I thought this was more of a sit-down location prior to entering, It is not. It is more takeout, but we still ordered and sat inside. There are a few tables to sit down at, which were accommodatable.
As for the food, the menu is diverse in selections. There are lunch and dinner combination plates and individual order items. I ordered the orange chicken with fried rice and hot and sour soup as the side. All were okay, mainly the chicken and fried rice. They had good flavor, taste, and texture. The soup, though it had a lot of veggies, tofu, and mushrooms, it lacked flavor. My lunch partner also stated the same for her meal.
So it is just okay for chinese food representation. The service at the front is lacking greatly by a female there. Not friendly at all, and comes across as almost rude. That is all I can say. By the looks on two other customers' faces on their way out, I suspected they felt the same way. I'm not sure I will be back. I'm still in search of the elusive GOOD chinese food restaurant here...
