Prior to this location opening, my family had been making all of our purchases from the location in Wellington, so needless to say we were originally very excited to hear we had a new location opening near our house. Unfortunately on my last two visits to the Northlake store, I have become increasingly disappointed by the customer service I received. On my previous visit, the staff member assisting me was most notably unenthusiastic and sarcastic during our interaction. I brushed this off to her perhaps having a bad day. Now, having yet another unpleasant experience makes me wonder if I should start taking my business back to the Wellington location. Today, after being stuck in traffic unfortunately, I entered the store five minutes after they were apparently closed. Where I realize I should have given myself more time to get to the store, the way I was treated by the thin blonde woman working in the store, is what really put a sour taste in my mouth. She asked me if I was picking up an order, to which I answered no. (I was hoping to grab one of the pre-made cakes for a co-worker’s birthday). The following response of the employee was to tell me that the store was closed and to come back tomorrow. She then moved to show me the door. I understand that the store was closed, however I have worked in an industry in which customer service is paramount for the last 15 years, and needless to say, I was disappointed to essentially be rushed out of the store because of the fact that I entered the store five minutes after closing, for a request that I felt was simple. Had I been shown a bit more of a compassionate response, I probably would not feel the way I do at this moment. I hope this store will strive to improve it’s customer service for others as I currently have no intention of returning to...
Read moreWorst experience at the store. I went on 11/24/21 to the Northlake location expecting to get what I came for and it was the complete opposite. Not only I was not able to choose the flavors that I want because they had only prepared boxes to sell and they didn’t even tell me what is in the box, there were no discount, and the staff was rude. I told them that as a client that is going to paid the full price I should be able to choose what I want to buy. The staff told me that there is no option and that’s how they are doing it (with an attitude). I went early with time so I don’t get them in a rush or anything and that was my surprise. I consider that if Nothing Bunt Cake is force the clients to get things how they want to sell it, they should, at least, have a discounted price to compensate the client for not being able to choose. Plus, they never announced that the sells for the week will be that way anywhere. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed for this first experience buying...
Read moreCake is GREAT.... unfortunately, the customer service is NOT. I just left here on my birthday with a birthday tiara that clearly says, "Birthday Girl" on it, and beads on, the man who looks like a manager or owner with sniffles, which was stoic nor the cashier acknowledged. They acted like they barely wanted to speak. But when a white and her daughter walked in, the cashier was more than happy to offer samples. Since my black skin makes you less of professionalor just plain courteous, I will not partonize your establishment. The experience did not make me feel good at all, ESPECIALLY on my birthday. No one is good enough to lose business.
By the way, I went across the street to the nutrition shop AND the wine store, where I was greeted and told,...
