First visit last visit. Thursday is $10 cocktails. My friend ordered a tequila cocktail and I ordered an Old Fashioned her drink came right away my drink was not made by my bartender for some reason. My drink took almost 15 minutes for the service bartender to make while my bartender poured other drinks for other patrons. When I questioned her and said excuse me where's my drink she said somebody else was making it who happened to be the service bartender. After my first cocktail and my friends cocktail mine was made rather quickly however my friend waited 20 minutes before somebody acknowledged her empty drink. We decided to order food after we order food I decided to order another cocktail three cocktails in approximately 2 hours the bartender to my amazement said she would not serve me another drink until my food came out not knowing whether I had eaten any food before I came here whether I was driving or my roommate was driving or if I was ubering this was incredibly insulting very off-putting and I will never come here again and the food was subpar on top of everything else. By the way she was the one making my drink so I don't understand why she didn't make the first one . The manager was very apologetic and offered to give me a salad as an apology. Apparently management said she was supposed to discuss with them whether or not they would serve me a third drink. I was not rude to anyone at the bar I was not rude to any of the staff I was not obnoxious or causing a scene at all this was very rude and just not a good look for a new restaurant. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I would completely understand if I was being rude or loud or drunk, none of which I was. UPDATE: I reached out to the owner via email and thought that his response was very thoughtful and considerate I understand it is difficult to start a new restaurant and for everybody to be on the same page as far as expectations of customer service and presentation. I have experience working in both front of house and back of house as a young man in various restaurants from fine Italian restaurants to chain restaurants and it taught me a lot about the industry and what to expect dining out. Thank you again to the owner and I look forward to hearing from him! UPDATE: we went back to give it another shot after the manager contacted me personally. I drove by to see if it was the same bar staff on Thursday Happy Hour night totally different staff totally different vibe we love the new bartenders and were treated with respect and we had a great time food was excellent cocktails were excellent so I'm revising my review to reflect what we experienced this time around I wish this establishment well and hope to see it succeed I thank the manager for reaching out and making things right and...

Just five months ago, Sicilian Oven opened its Palm Beach Gardens restaurant on PGA Boulevard.
My neighbor Jenn introduced me to the restaurant - its newest happening place in town - and before the summer heat set in, she, her mom and I enjoyed a delicious lunch special. A Sicilian Salad and Boss Pizza combination was more than sufficient to share and satisfy us all.
I returned for an early dinner a couple of weeks later, and enjoyed the house wine - Stemmari Cabernet from Sicily - along with a pepperoni and mushroom pizza, a Sicilian Salad (serves one to two people) with Gorgonzola on the side (recommended even though there already is shaved cheese on the salad), and a generous slice of carrot cake, which my server Taylor recommended.
Even the smallest portions still left me with almost three days worth of meals from what I took home! And after that big meal (with more than double what I ate going home with me) and three glasses of the house Cabernet (really quite good!), I needed a nap! And - thanks to such a nice dinner, it was a good one!
I returned again to Sicilian Oven last night for another early dinner. And I ordered with the intent to be enjoying leftovers over the coming weekend!
So, I ordered a Philly Steak Panetta ($14), Truffle Fries ($8) with a side of garlic aioli, and a Sicilian Salad ($14). For dessert, I enjoyed a chocolate hazelnut torte with a graham cracker and pretzel crust - my server Mac's favorite! That's always the best recommendation!
This morning, breakfast included some of last night's truffle fries and part of the Philly Steak Panetta. Delicious!
Do check out Sicilian Oven! It's chic yet warm, and upscale but not slick - and you'll see no red and white checkered table cloths covered in plastic here. It's real, it's genuine, it's excellent! And the atmosphere, food, service and...
Read moreI dedicated myself to this restaurant with loyalty and hard work. I was punctual, rarely missed a shift, and took on extra duties like bussing my own tables, polishing silverware, filling ice, and washing dishes—especially during lunch shifts when bussers were cut to save costs.
Despite all this, I was treated unfairly and disrespected by management, particularly under the current general manager, Frank. When I asked a simple question about bussers and tipping, instead of addressing my concern, I was accused of “talking back” and was abruptly fired on the spot. This was not only humiliating but felt like a complete betrayal after all my effort.
Several employees have expressed similar concerns about management’s disrespectful behavior, creating a toxic and unsupportive work environment. Unfortunately, when these issues were raised with HR, they were not addressed adequately, and I was ultimately told it was best I not return, despite my loyalty and hard work.
I’m sharing my experience to urge the ownership to seriously address these issues. Hardworking employees deserve respect, support, and fair treatment—not sudden termination over minor misunderstandings and insufficient...
