The services are good but the reception staff upon arrival both times I went here was less than helpful nor was she friendly. I don't appreciate a cold reception. When told I could go in for my sauna, no one offered to show me where it was. I didn't ask because Iām not keen to talk to people who seem wholly disinterested in me/customer service. I started later than scheduled due to a previous client's overstay. When I found the room and got in the sauna, I noticed there wasn't enough time so I had to get a robe on, go back out to find staff to fix the time. At the end as I got dressed, a different (maybe new) staff member knocked on the door with no pause and opened the door while I was still undressed and changing. She immediately apologized and closed the door but honestly, that should not happen. That door lock should work properly for this very reason. When I went to reception to pay, it was someone different and they said I'd been checked out because the receptionist before her "thought you'd left already" and they charged my credit card which was a problem. I was planning to pay with a gift card I'd received from a family member. She apologized and credited back 2 sauna sessions but the whole thing was so unpleasant and stressful. I decided to go back to use the gift card. The next time I went in, I had the same cold receptionist who walked around with attitude the first time. She seemed to wait to be told to clean up the front lounge area of someone's leftover mess while I filled out a form. Thankfully the nurse Katie was friendly, competent and informative. She saved the experience there. I suggest training the staff to be more customer-centered and friendly in order to make this a better...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt was an awful experience. I tried compression therapy for the first time. The boots were 2 different sizes due to a zipper not working on the other shorter length one. I even said maybe I should come back, but they tried to make it work. It made for a good feeling/fit on my right leg and an "eh" feeling/fit on my left. No one came to check on me after the initial set up. They did say they were closing soon so I would be doing a shorter, 20 minute session. No one came to release me from the boots and I just sat there almost 10 minutes when I could've been a) gone or b) had a longer session. At no point when they were telling me it would only be 20 minutes did they say "but it's the same cost as a longer session." When I went to check out, I was charged $50 and asked why it was the same price as a longer session, and why no one thought to mention that to me, a new client. The young lady at the counter said her manager had left for the day and she had no real answer for me. I would never go back, will be putting this review online, and letting all my friends know how my first...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy experience at Restore Hyper Wellness was exquisite! It started with a phone call to inquire before booking. Colby answered the call and was exceptional. Patient and genuinely helpful. When I arrived, I was greeted by Colby, and she was even more exquisite in person. A delight to deal with. I forgot the name of the other woman that was taking me through therapy, but she was awesome too! I went in looking for some relief to the bulging disc that I reaggravated. I got the whole body cryo, and the red light therapy. Wasn't really helpful for a bulging disc, I need to go to my chiro and get decompression. But it was great for the rest of my body. The cryo was awesome, loved it! And the red light felt invigorating. If you're going in for general wellness or muscle recovery, you'll come out feeling great. As soon as I get my bulging disc under control and I'm back in the gym, I'll definitely come back on a regular basis. Cause of the therapy, and the great...
