I've been a near daily customer of this location since before the pandemic started. Even through the COVID, once they opened back up for business I began trying to show my support for this location by being a loyal customer. For the vast majority of this time, things went without issue and I have been very satisfied. Great smoothies, clean location, kind staff. Especially Mac. The few times I have had issue in the past, they have been swift to offer an equitable solution to my problem.
Over the past couple of weeks, something has changed in this location and it has taken a swift nosedive. I have ordered through their app multiple times and the results have been....poor to say the least.
-Wrong smoothie(s) made for pickup -Wrong food delivered -MULTIPLE Incomplete orders delivered. I ordered a thai chicken salad, which came without dressing and the wrong smoothie. I placed an order today for two smoothies and a flatbread. I got one smoothie and a chicken bacon ranch flatbread when I ordered a peanut butter ,banana and granola one. How do you even MAKE that mistake?

When confronted about these repeated issues, the store has told me they have no interest in refunding my order or correcting the issue. That they do not hold accountability for delivered orders and that is on DoorDash. Regardless that the orders have been made through the TROPICAL SMOOTHIE phone app and that DoorDash does not have my payment information, Tropical Smoothie does, they don't care and refuse to issue refunds or even offer replacements/attempt to make these issues correct.
I will be speaking with management to come to a suitable resolution.
Updating this to a 5 star review after speaking with the Store Manager, Chris, who was exceptionally kind and helpful in bringing this situation to a happy ending. I am very pleased with the resolution he provided and will happily continue to patronize...
Read moreI hate to leave a review like this because I could tell the staff was having a rough time, but management needs to be better. I did an order online for pickup for 2 smoothies and 2 food items and when we got there 20 minutes later, everything was a huge disaster.
The restaurant was being run by a bunch of teenage girls with what looked like 0 management help. One of them was out of uniform and seemed to be one of their friends that they called in for help.
The restaurant was a MESS. Smoothie was spilled ALL OVER the floor and counter, receipts flying everywhere, trash everywhere.
They were running super late with orders yet there were only about 3 or 4 customers including us. It was not busy at all. One couple left after waiting forever for food they never got. Our order wasn't ready and when they gave it to us finally, they forgot our smoothies. When we asked for our smoothies, they gave us super watered down smoothies and then we also realized that one order was completely wrong.
I don't know what was going on here but it was very bad. I'm not mad at the girls because it looked like they were really trying but someone seriously needs to help them or fix up this...

First off, there were no plates, forks, servicing utensils, or napkins. How are you supposed to fix and enjoy a salad without those basic necessities? When I had my catering service contact them to find out why they weren’t delivered, they said it was due to a shortage with their vendor, and they wouldn’t provide those things for catering. I spent almost $400 on food. You couldn’t run out to Publix to get those for this order? Seriously!!! Second, the salad was delivered on disposable tray platter tops.
