I got to the Amigo Room around 9 p.m. and it was rather inviting. I liked the decor and the vibe. It's a small space, but the booth setup provided what felt like a little privacy that allowed for talking with friends. Until a little later that hour when the DJ started. The volume was up so high that talking (or hearing anyway) became very difficult. I would anticipate that at a bar more suited to dancing, but the Amigo Room is more of a tiny, low-key, pseudo-Mexican cocktail bar that would be better left to those who want to sit and drink.
