PROPERTY MANAGERS ELSEWHERE, TAKE NOTE: THIS IS HOW IT SHOULD BE DONE.
When I was a kid (dating myself), there was a famous campaign from Avis. Hertz was #1, so Avis proclaimed, When you are #2, you try harder. (Or else).
That, in a nutshell, has been our experience with Oasis. New to the PS rental market when we bought our home, we didn't know what we didn't know, and somebody suggested the Other Guys. The bigger company, with all the expensive vans driving around town.
Almost immediately, we felt twinges of regret. Half the bookings for the year were made at an introductory rate; staff turnover was cray-cray, and the monthly invoices had surprise after surprise (the unpleasant kind). Most disturbingly, while every communication / site / etc. came with this charming No Excuse! moniker, all we heard were excuses.
A brand new oven somehow broke around Thanksgiving. Bad luck. But we didn't hear about it until we read a blistering review from the renter, who arrived to find out that, despite getting assurances, she had no great oven for her meal. I read the review about five weeks after the incident; nobody had called us. I ended up getting the stove (still under warranty) replaced in two or three days. Five weeks with a broken stove in the middle of high season, and no notice? We couldn't believe it.
The experience there was so discouraging, I think we actually contemplating dumping the house.
Well, thank goodness, someone else pointed us in the direction of Oasis. Two years later, our faith in humanity is restored (at least, outside of D.C.,). They care about us, they care about our home, they own up if something unfolds that probably shouldn't have. (There's been almost none of that, because things have been 99.9% smooth, but stuff happens to us all).
You don't get treated like home #232, because you aren't. They are responsive and genuinely nice, quality people. Expenses are kept down, and not used as some BS kind of revenue stream.
They've even managed to secure a few long term rentals for us.
I seldom write reviews. These folks deserve...

The Casa Tiempo house is perfectly appointed to give your trip a "moved in" feeling. The star of the property is the fantastic backyard pool, lawn, and patio. It's plenty large and plenty private to just sit and soak up the sun. Make a run to the grocery store or have your boxed dinners forwarded to this home because cooking a fantastic meal is a breeze. Nearly every dish, pan, or appliance is here and will save you hours of searching for reservations at one of the limited, tasteful dining options in town.
Tons of bedrooms and the floorplan of the home favors the big glass doors facing the giant backyard. The home is very clean and seems to be well maintained. You have 1 parking space on the property and it's a bit of a chore to get groceries from parking to the kitchen as the garage and back entrance are restricted.
If your top criteria for a home selection is the pool area. This is a top choice. Spa and pool are clean and well maintained. Tons of sunlight exposure and the landscaping is well planned for privacy and visual appeal. Two outdoor fire pits make for some cozy evening gaming. Very happy with the outdoor space.
Couple notes:
1)Assume your coming and going is being monitored. The doors all have sensors and the property owner watches for doors opening that are not locked. 2) Even though the property management book describes how to operate the pool, don't touch or even look at the panel on the wall. The operation demonstrated in the book is incorrect and you will hear from the property manager if you try to get the pool running. Just assume it's running and leave it alone. 3) Ask ALL rental managers if there is construction at any nearby homes. It should be a requirement to disclose any nearby construction, but assume SOMEONE around you is remodeling. Power saws and swimming pools have a way of finding...
Read moreOur recent stay at the Airbnb in Palm Springs was nothing short of wonderful! We visited with another family, and each of us had two young children, making it a lively group. The house was spacious, clean, and perfectly suited for families with kids.
From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The host, Kristin was incredibly welcoming and provided us with all the information we needed to make our stay comfortable. The check-in process was seamless, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the home, like the detailed guidebook with local recommendations.
The house itself was beautifully decorated and well-maintained. The open floor plan allowed the kids to run around and play freely, while the adults enjoyed the cozy living room and the fully-equipped kitchen. We loved cooking meals together and dining in the outdoor patio area, which had plenty of seating and a fantastic view of the mountains.
One of the highlights of our stay was the backyard. The kids spent hours playing in the pool and the spacious yard. There were pool toys and floaties provided, which was a nice touch. The outdoor space was a true oasis, with plenty of shade, comfortable loungers, and a BBQ grill that we used several times during our stay.
The bedrooms were comfortable and provided plenty of space for everyone. The beds were cozy, and the linens were fresh and clean. Each room had its own charm, and the master bedroom had an en-suite bathroom that was luxurious and convenient.
The location of the Airbnb was ideal. We were close to all the attractions that Palm Springs has to offer, including great restaurants, shops, and parks. Despite being centrally located, the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway.
Overall, we have no complaints about our stay. It was a memorable experience for both...
