Azure Sky was one of the best hotel vacation experiences my wife and I ever had. We stayed here in April of 2023 for a wedding. The staff was incredible. Angie was amazing (GM) and went out of our way to make sure we were comfortable. My wife and I love to explore restaurants/bars and our favorite cocktails were made by Cesar at the Azure Sky compared to anywhere else in Palm Springs.
The room was perfect - the housekeeping staff (also incredibly sweet) flipped the room on request. The bed was comfortable, stylish, and the kitchenette was an added bonus. The room has snacks (which you can purchase) but also a fully stocked kitchenette/bar with every type of alcohol/soda/lemons and limes. The attention to detail at the azure sky really shines.
The pool was very a perfect vibe for my wife and I. We are not big party at the pool when we are on a vacation, we want to relax. Read our books, listen to the (perfect) Palm Springs radio station they have going, drink some beers/wine/Cesar's cocktails and spend quality time together. There are 13 rooms (I think?) on the property so the pool fits the amount of people staying perfectly. Its just a an amazing vibe.
The cocktails - they need their own special write-up. Cesar makes an amazing spicy marg with mezcal. He had some awesome slushies as well. The welcome cocktail was a daiquiri and it was incredible. Every time we were out getting a cocktail, my wife and I would compare the drink on a scale of "one to Cesar's margaritas".
The breakfast was nice, hard boiled eggs, granola, yogurt, fruit, all in the beautiful living room/hotel lobby area. The fire was always going and it was a very cozy experience.
The location was amazing. We took the bikes provided by Azure Sky around the super stylish art-deco neighborhood and got tacos at El Jefe (we highly recommend). We also walked to get coffee quite a bit at the ACE hotel (across the street). If you WANT to party/turn it up - the bar/pool at the ACE is literally a 3 minute walk across the street.
We had one of the best vacations ever in Palm Springs and we feel the Azure Sky and staff were a massive part to this. I cant thank them enough, we were so sad to leave, but we will be back soon!

Read moreDog friendly but not by the pool. Stayed here last January and had an amazing time. I take my dog to Palm Springs on vacation to escape the snow at home in the winter. All we want to do is relax by the pool (my dog has no interest in swimming). Last January I made special accommodations at the time of my reservation for my best friend to sit with me next to the pool, we sat way in the back away from other guests, he did not disturb any other guests the whole time and just took a nap each day enjoying the warm weather. The hotel is amazing, intimately sized for a relaxing quintessential Palm Springs experience with an epic pool area and classy mid century design in a quiet neighborhood location close to many attractions. I could see myself coming back every year and we planned to do just that but sadly when I called recently to make arrangements to allow my dog to sit next to me by the pool for our upcoming winter vacation the request was declined this time. As much as I love this hotel I’m not going to travel to Palm Springs in the winter and sit in my room the whole time, nor will ever I leave my best friend alone to enjoy the pool without him. Sadly this is the case at many Palm Springs “pet friendly” hotels with some notable exceptions. I had to make many calls but luckily found a different hotel that allows dogs everywhere on property including the pool area, just not the water which is reasonable. Many people with small well behaved dogs just want to sit with them by the pool, my dog is hypoallergenic and does not shed. I’m ok with leash restrictions to make sure the dogs don’t enter the water, dog size and breed restrictions, but restricting dogs from the entire pool area severely limits the appeal of this hotel to people who are taking their dog on vacation. Otherwise it is an amazing...
Read moreOur stay at the Azure Sky Hotel was December 18-23, 2022, and we thoroughly enjoyed a peaceful stay. The design of the propety was beautiful, and images accurately reflect what to expect. The staff and housekeeping went out of their way to assure an effortless stay. We stayed in a King Room (Room 112) off the pool area, and it was very spacious and clean. The adult only environment made for a very quiet stay, and other guests respected the quiet time after 10pm. Since the property has no TVs, this helped as well. It was very peaceful and quiet. Although we did not utilize the honor bar, they had a great selection to choose from to spoil your stay. We enjoyed the in room coffee & tea service daily & nightly as the selections were quite delicious. The continental breakfast was modest but gave you enough energy to start your day. The pool was like bathwater with the temperature in the low 70s during our visit during the day. The hot tub was super clean, great jets, and plenty warm. There were several seating areas with outdoor elongated fire pits lit in the morning and evenings to cut the cold. All rooms have both indoor and outdoor seating. The lobby was beautiful, and it was nice to see guests using this space to relax and socialize with each other. Guests ranged in age, mostly couples or friends traveling together, upscale, hip, diverse, and LGBT+ friendly. We used the bikes daily, about 8 to 10 miles a day, to get around, which was effortless and efficient to get you downtown. I am glad we got the opportunity to be one of the properties inaugural guests. I'm sure their reputation will create demand in the months and years to come to secure staying here. A great quote sums up our stay, "The difference between 'good' and 'excellent' is detail." They've got all the details covered, so...
