I am not one to go out of my way and bash any company over a one time incident - but when it is with every visit, I feel this is necessary. As a Chilis LOVER, I was super excited when they opened up this fairly new location near my office. My staff and I all order from here at least 2x per month (and thats 7 of us) so needless to say it's typically a pretty big order. Not ONCE has everything been correct. Sadly, we have all agreed we will no longer be giving this location our business. It is pretty obvious the staff could care less (when it come to take out orders anyway). My issue today was of course one of our side orders was left out. But what really got under my skin is the fact I paid $3.19 for a black berry tea. The girl mentioned to me when she handed me my super small cup that unfortunately they were all out of their regular to go cups. I then asked if she would be so kind to give me another one to make up for the fact I am obviously getting stiffed and her response was: "Since there is no ice in the cup it does equal the equivalent of our regular size to go cups." Seriously? Had I not been in a hurry to get back to the office I would have demanded my $3.19 back. Not to mention I even included a tip (I paid online). NEVER again. Very bad attitudes and repeat visits that never fail to disappoint. Last but NOT least, with 7 employees in my office we ordered 7 meals and a few extra sides. I requested extra ketchup packets and was advised there was plenty in the bag. I returned to the office to find exactly (6) ketchup packets. That's "plenty" of ketchup with 7 meals?!?
The girl handling to go this afternoon might as well have flicked me the bird with that look on her face. Do the employees at Chilis pay for the ketchup or something? Sincerely yours, a very...
Read moreWhere do I begin.... It brings me to tears just thinking about how kind and compassionate Sabrina and Marcos treated me and my family while I had difficulties with my autistic child. I never usually get the exceptional service that I give, as a bartender/server myself - but God was looking out for me today. A kind angel by the name of Jen jumped up to help as they were leaving the res't because she knows first hand how hard it gets when a non-verbal child on the spectrum is having a hard time processing emotions. Afterwards I sat in my vehicle outside the res't and just cried on my daughter's lap. I'm crying just writing this review. I was too stressed to go home and cook so I decided to stop in and try to have a meal for my daughter's birthday, after camp. I didn't have anything at all to eat all day, typical day for an active special needs mom. In a world where ppl aren't kind, I managed to meet some kind souls. I wish there were more ppl of service in the field like Sabrina and Marcos. These two deserve recognition for not scrutinizing me and my daughter. I will never forget them. And of course to top it off the food looked EXTREMELY well prepared. I still haven't gotten a chance to eat as I'm still in awe with the support I rcvd on my daughter's birthday. (PS, no one had a clue that it was even my daughter's birthday until I was cleaning the table to leave, so I know their intentions were pure. Though I was embarrassed strangely I felt supported and that's the part that keeps these tears rolling. Thank you both! I love u guys! You did a very valour thing for a lady that deserves it the most. Bless you both and...
Read moreCame in with my wife as we usually do every two weeks on a Friday. Ordered two "El Nino" margaritas and they both tasted different from what we are accustomed to. The salt was scarce, they only added salt to approximately 3 inches of the glass. They normally come with salt all round the edge of the entire glass as a margarita should. As I sipped the margarita I noticed a strange taste to the beverage. The taste was of rancid oranges, I removed the slice of orange to inspect it closer and sure enough the slice of orange was spoiled, not to mention the ton of ice that was in it which caused them to be too watery within 5 minutes. I ordered the half rack of ribs with the chicken tenders, mac & cheese, fries and jalapeno sausage. My wife ordered the 6 piece tenders with mac & cheese. My order arrived without the jalapeno sausage and the mac & cheese was runny. My wife's order arrived and she also had issues with her mac & cheese. It was clumpy and the color looked way different from mine. Needles to say we didn't eat them and by then we both were very disappointed and didn't enjoy the evening. The waiter "John" was very apologetic as he also noticed the issue with the food. He asked us if we wanted another margarita but by that time we were disappointed with everything and I felt like I had wasted my money on bad food. I gave him a $40.00 tip for being so attentive and kind. Don't think we will be going back...
