It was 8:22 on Thursday March,6th and I was at the checkout ordering what should have been a nice dinner, but the staff made it the complete opposite. The lady at the checkout (with short black hair) didn't want to sell me anything savory on the menu (no crepes with ham and cheese, for example, something very simple) for the simple fact that they didn't want to prepare it. I ordered 4 dulce de leche crepes and 2 hot chocolate. My surprise was when the same lady came to the table with everything in plastic boxes, the hot chocolate was horrible with the stained cup and no spoon, and she told me that they were going to close and that's why they gave everything in a plastic box, even though they close at 9pm and there were still people in the place and there were 35 minutes left until closing. After having spent more than $62.00, I was clearly bothered by this poor service (being a regular customer) and even more so by their explanation telling me that they had had a busy day and that it was the Manager's order not to sell things on the menu and not to serve them on decent plates as it should be. What kind of restaurant is this that does not want to sell? That the staff wants to go home, I understand, but I arrived more than 40 minutes before closing time and they are not giving me free food. Be careful with your attention because if you do not want to serve, it is better to put up a closed sign and that's it. What a disappointment your restaurant and...
Read moreMet a friend for a weekday evening chat on the front patio? Which is the best thing about this place even though every table and chat was filthy. The salty young lady behind the cast was unfriendly, made zero eye contact and mostly mumbled. The items in the cold case appeared absolutely unappetizing. My friendâs cold coffee drink was mixed from commercially pre-prepared ingredients in a jar. My ice tea was well past its prime. While waiting for the drinks I noticed a very bad order lingering in this place. Like rank Roquefort cheese. I glanced into the trash cans noticing they were full to the brim. I watched an older lady behind the counter mindlessly wiping the same spot over and over. Every time I break my vow to avoid downtown PS eateries, the...
Read moreDespite arriving at 8 PM, we were surprised to find staff already closing, removing chairs, and limiting our options to only the Sweet CrĂȘpe sectionâno drinks allowed. We spent $21 on two underwhelming crepes: a lemon butter cinnamon and a chocolate. Both were disappointingly small with flavors that tasted pre-packaged rather than freshly made. The chocolate crepe featured ordinary milk chocolate that paled in comparison to what I could easily prepare at home. Meanwhile, the lemon butter sugar crepe lacked any distinctive flavor, offering little more than bland batter. With numerous superior dessert options available throughout Palm Springs, this place...
