Nestled in a corner where time seems to slow down, there's a bar that whispers tales of yesteryears. This isn't just any bar; it's a portal to an era where conversations were savored like fine wine, and the jukebox played tunes that made you reminisce about moments you never lived. **Atmosphere:** Walking into this bar feels like stepping into a black-and-white movie. The lighting is dim, not in a way that makes you squint, but in a manner that invites you to linger longer, to keep your voice low and your laughter gentle. The decor is a delightful mismatch of vintage signs, old photos, and plush, worn-out seats that have stories embedded in their fabric. **Ambiance:** There's a quiet charm here. It's not the silence of emptiness but the kind that's filled with soft murmurs, the clink of glasses, and the occasional laughter that doesn't disturb but rather enhances the cozy environment. The background music? A gentle playlist that might include anything from Sinatra to early rock 'n' roll, played at a volume perfect for background humming. **Service:** The bartenders here? They're not just pouring drinks; they're mixing memories. Each one seems to have a story or a quip that fits just right into the evening's soundtrack. Service is unhurried, which in this setting, feels like a virtue rather than a fault. They remember your order by the second visit, and by the third, you might get a new cocktail "on the house" – a signature blend that's not on the menu but crafted for the moment. **Cocktails:** Speaking of which, the drinks here are like characters in a novel. Each has its backstory, its heroics, and its flaws. The classics are done with a respect for tradition but with a twist that might make you ponder, "Did they just improve perfection?" **Crowd:** The patrons are a mix of regulars who've probably seen the bar evolve over years and newcomers who stumbled upon this gem by chance or by local lore. It's a place where age doesn't matter as much as your appreciation for good conversation, good drink, and good company. **Final Thoughts:** Tailor Bar doesn't just serve drinks; it serves an experience. It's not for those who rush through life but for those who enjoy pausing, reflecting, and maybe even falling a little in love with the past they never had. If you're looking for somewhere to truly unwind, where the walls hold history and every corner has a story, this bar is your haven. Just come with an open heart, a curious ear, and a few hours to spare. You might just find yourself becoming part of the next chapter in this timeless tavern.

An amazing little “speak easy” sort of bar in uptown Palm Springs! It’s usually really busy and it has limited seating, so be sure to make a reservation for a table or seating online before going. The atmosphere is very chill and relaxing, with a darker ambiance after sunset. When the weather is warmer, they open up large sliding doors to the outside patio area for additional seating with a great view of the mountains to the west. The mixed drinks are amazing and they have a great selection of liquors. Prices are a little higher, but you are paying for the experience as much as anything else. The night we were there, it was a little slower, and we thought that the bartender and cocktail waitress were both a little bit inattentive. (Hence, the 4 stars instead of 5…) We had to constantly get their attention, as they were not really checking on us very much. They seemed preoccupied and aloof. We will still go back and try this place again, but they could definitely improve the service.

What an interesting experience!! We were walking next door to the tiki bar and the person working the door ushered us inside. Once we walked in, we realized it wasn’t the tiki bar, haha! We sat at the bar and declined the bottled water. We asked the bartenders to make whatever they’d wanted after sharing what we like. We were asked about the water again and chose the flat. My husband was a little frustrated with the $10 charge. But the drinks were fantastic!! My husband had a cocktail with scotch and was very impressed. My drink was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. The drinks were pricey, but they were very complex and worth it. The vibe here was amazing…dark and swanky. So glad we got to experience Tailor Shop!

Too bad ZERO stars isn't possible. Went there Saturday night with 12 people ready to hang and have a good time. Doorman was a complete PUTZ. They wanted us originally to BUY THE ENTIRE place out for the night however we could go on Open Table and book 3 tables of 4. HMMM suspicious. Trying to scam us. When we went in they had 1 bartender not doing anything plus a couple tables with people at it. Slow and downer music, dark atmosphere with a bottom shelf selection of liquor. Nothing high end let alone middle of the line yet their prices are STEEP. The doorman kept on hastling us and yes he was a PUTZ. Finally we left with a humorous memory of a bar that has surprisingly lasted 3 months and will not be here in 3 days most likely due to amongst other things (and I will say it again) a PUTZ...
