I visited this location after a coworker's recommendation, hoping to find a new favorite spot for my kids and me. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations.
The taste and quality of the ingredients were no better than other common businesses in the area, which offer similar products at an equal or lesser price. While the quality was decent, it didn't justify the high prices. In comparison, similar pizza chains like Domino's offer better value for the taste and quality.
Additionally, I had a frustrating experience placing my order. Their website promotes a deal for 2 medium pizzas, bread cheese sticks, and a cinnamon dessert bread for $24.99. However, when I attempted to check out, the website claimed the deal was invalid and wouldn't allow me to use it. I called the location, and they informed me that this deal can only be added online, and there was nothing they could do to assist me. This inconsistency and lack of flexibility were disappointing.
To make matters worse, the quantity of toppings on both pizzas was extremely limited. Many slices didn't even have toppings, which was unacceptable. Unfortunately, my kids were too hungry, and the location was not close enough to my home to drive back and exchange or return the pizzas.
Given the premium pricing, technical issues, and skimpy toppings, I expected more. Sadly, we won't be returning or recommending this place to others.
Perhaps with some adjustments to their pricing strategy, website functionality, customer service, and topping quantities, this location could better compete with other options...
Read moreI called and the manager refused to go or the deals on their website. They need to do better and not tell people that they just leave them up there and turn on and off the coupon codes as they will. Update the damn website and make it crystal clear the deals are no longer offered.
All this before I could even try your supposedly better pizza. How unfortunate. Guess I'll stick with the devil I know for once.
UPDATE: Was told to fill out the contact us form and that everything would be taken of. Spoiler: It wasn't and I haven't been contacted by anyone from the Palmdale store.
The contact us form doesn't even let you pick the store. I picked the next closest and was called by that store's owner who was amazing. But honestly, If the owner for Palmdale can't be bothered to make this right, I can't and won't be bothered to try this "better pizza".
You've lost a customer and I'll be sure to spread the word! :)
Update Dos: Sherman, the owner/operator, gave me a call and we had a nice chat regarding what happened. He is a really amazing dude and made sure to take care of me.
Now.. You're wondering if the pizza is better than your average pizza.
Yes. It reminds me of when pizza hut had that soft crust and the quality is top notch.
Mr. Sherman, you win. We're fans and will be back soon for more...
