Sept 2023 review - we had a great experience with Monica’s cake and sugar cookies the prior year (see review below and pictures), so we re-ordered from her for my son’s following birthday but it was a little different experience. Cakes were a bit dry/dense this time. Sugar cookies were still excellent!

Sept 2022 review- Highly recommend Monica’s cakes and sugar cookies! I reached out to her with a request for my son’s birthday and she was very responsive and helped me pick cake flavors based on my preferences. The end product was incredible! The design was very adorable and the cake was one of the best cakes I’ve tasted. My guests were so impressed as well! We did a two layer cake with chocolate cake filled with berries on the bottom and vanilla cake with confetti sprinkles and lemon curd filling on top. Cakes were not dry at all and not overly sweet - exactly what I requested! Ordered a custom cake on 4/24 to be delivered on 05/7 to my son's university for his 21 st bday. I live in Florida therefore, I was relying on a friend to meet Monica so that my son could be surprised. The first picture below is the reference picture of the custom cake that I ordered and the second picture is the actual cake that was delivered. Monica, was completely unprofessional with her delivery. Monica, agreed to send me a picture of the cake prior to delivering it and she never did. I had to email her, text her and call her just so that she could answer my call with an extremely rude tone and even argued with me about the delivery time. She was at the delivery site without notifying or confirming her exact delivery time. I had to hurry and scramble for someone to accept the cake from her. TO make matters worst the cake tasted awful- it was hard and almost not edible! This was a really bad experience and if I could give this place a 0/10- I would have. I ordered a custom set of cookies for a family members baby gender reveal and they turned out absolutely perfect! Not only were they beautifully designed and exactly what we were hoping for, but they also tasted amazing, which isn’t always the case with decorated cookies!
