Crumbl Cookie is lagging behind competitors to adopt a 100% cage-free policy in regards to the layer hens (chickens) in their egg supply chain. Companies such as Otis Spunkmeyer Cookies, Insomnia Cookies, Levain Bakery, Krispy Kreme, Peet's Coffee, Barnes & Noble Café, and The Cheesecake Factory have publicly pledged to transition to 100% cage-free eggs and have either already met this commitment or are publicly sharing their progress! Cage-free is the new industry standard. I mean think about it, how long could you leave a dog in a tight personal transport kennel before you consider it animal abuse? Egg laying hens are forced to live in battery cages their entire shortened life span of one and a half years in these overcrowded cages, deprived of their natural behaviors, leading to stress, health issues, and severe suffering, even though chickens can have the lifespan of 8 to 12 years in ideal environments. The amount of personal space each chicken is allowed is less than the size of an iPad! I will not simply stand by in the presence of this animal abuse therefore I highly encourage Crumbl to adopt a 100% cage-free policy commitment! Until then, I will not give them...
Read moreOrdered 6 cookies. A male employee handed the box over and said “here ya go”. He did not show us the cookies or say thank you. We’ve been to crumbl multiple times through different states and never had an issue, so didn’t think of looking in the box, just thought it was poor customer service. When we got home some of the cookies were not made correctly and some were wrong size. I hope management sees this post, because they need to address these employees. Including picture of what these cookies are suppose to look like and what they did look like. I realize they can’t look picture perfect, but I want to reiterate we have been to crumb here in Nebraska multiple times, 2 times in South Dakota and 1 time in Iowa and our cookies have always been good and pretty close to the pictures. I think there was one time they didn’t have a topper for one of the cookies, but they let us know and it wasn’t a big deal. The banana pudding doesn’t have a wafer and no lemon topper and lack of lemon jelly on the lemon cheesecake one. Not sure if the mint one is supposed to have more mint frosting filling, but there’s not...
Read moreI don’t frequently visit here, but I do from time to time for special occasions. We placed an order to share with our family for our anniversary, and this shop has changed drastically since I last visited. There were four employees working and about 15-20 people arrived while I was there waiting. There was really only one person trying to be productive. Not one person was greeted. The employees were all moving very slowly and looked as though they hated their job. There was one girl wringing out a rag the entire time I was in there and wiping the same spot multiple times, very slowly. The entire shop was very dirty, with boxes all over the floor, and it was clear the lobby floor had not been cleaned recently. The box I was given after waiting for a very long time had stuff all over the outside of it. I had to throw the box away when I got home and put the cookies in a separate container. One of my cookies was upside down in the box, and I also got sick from the cookies the morning...
